I'm very pleased with this product & have purchased them for every bed & to use as a couch slip cover. (My living room furniture is a flex steel and the average slipcover is too small, this works well for my needs)I expected it to be a looser weave and lightweight, it's actually a medium weight and of nice tight weave, I was pleasantly surprised.I've owned this product for over a year now & It has maintained its color and it has not pilled or snagged. I use it year-round, in the cool summer nights It's over my bed sheets. Come the fall I use it with 100% cotton woven blanket. Come winter I throw a comforter at the foot my bed in case the temperature drops fast. Basically this coverlet works your round for my needs.The best part is Since it's 100% cotton it breathes well and works well with layering.I sleep on a memory foam due to back problems and was always plagued by sweating at night until I went with all 100% cotton bedding ( sheets, blankets, coverlets & even my mattress pad is 100% cotton- tip in case you have the night sweats.)If you like the feeling of a weighted blanket, I think this could do the trick .I believe its easier to wash, than a large quilted blanket or comforter.It's great bed cover & very versatile.Definitely has a classic vintage look.

Have one in Navy, and one in Sage. The mandarin color is coming. No "chemical smell" Soft, hard to find all cotton in this quality, weight, and well-tailored. This pattern by Superior is the one I recommend, there is another cottonspread by Superior with a paisley pattern. Same quality, etc. but I am returning it due to the chemical smell.This spread pattern with the "medallion pattern" is the one to buy. I cannot find this quality, etc. anywhere else.update: decided to keep the "garnet queen medallion" - these are so inexpensive and fantastic quality, even the reverse side of the spread!! Are you kidding me? This is where most "skimp" on quality. So now I will have two queens and three twin spreads. Seriously, the quality fabric, workmanship, detail of the medallion pattern, these get 5 stars with each and every one. The medallion pattern by Superior is the one to buy. I love the look and feel of this bedspread. It came yesterday and we measured it and tried it on the bed. Perfect fit. Washed it last night in cold water and dried warm, not hot. Put it on the bed this morning and was shocked. Measured it again. The length had shrunk by inches and the width now was too high to cover the box springs.We decided to put it lengthwise across the bed. The sides then looked great. Top to bottom, it reached the top with no material to cover a pillow but we can get green pillowcases and deal with that. A hope chest at the bottom of the bed covers where it won’t go over the bottom of the box spring there. I love the spread so will live with this solution. I thought about a king sized instead but even with shrinking it would be too big..I read that others had no shrinkage. I wish I knew their secret.

This bedspread more than exceeded my expectations. It just looks and feels so nice. It’s not too thick or too thin. It’s real cotton, not polyester masquerading as cotton, which is a huge plus for me. The color is a dark teal, which was exactly what I wanted. I washed it before I put it on the bed, so I don’t really know if it shrank or not. It fits my bed perfectly. But then, I have a platform bed with no box spring. If you have a very tall bed it might not reach the floor.I am so happy I found and chose this. At the price I paid it was a real bargain!

Nice, light weight coverlet. Good color, but it does shrink in the first wash. Still big enough to cover the bed.

This bedspread is pretty and a very good size. As it says, you won't need a skirt with it. However, it is so flimsy that I think it will get pulls very easily and not wear for long. That's why I gave it a 3. Not what I was expecting. I just think it is too much money for what it is in comparison to others I have had.

We are very happy with this bedspread! It’s the best size for our bed that I have ever found! It is very light weight and cool to sleep under. For winter I have a light blanket under it. It has a pretty design and is well made. I washed it and it only shrank a little bit which cotton does.

As I read reviews on this particular item, I have to wonder if customers actually read the description/information about the item etc. I absolutely love this bed spread. This is a light weight, oversized (actually the correct size for a bedspread), wonderful product. This bedspread reminds me of something we had as kids. In the winter you use blankets under it and in the summer use with just a sheet. The fabric is softer after I washed it and will continue to soften up. I did dry on a med heat so shrinkage was minimal if any. It does come down on each side of our bed to the bottom of the frame. Does not reach the floor, which is fine with me. I do love the lightweightness of it! I do switch out bedspreads for winter ( a heavier cotton) and now I have my summer. I did mostly purchase this particular one for the size and the weight of it and I am not disappointed! You may have to watch for snags on this type of material. Overall good value.

Es una colcha 100% de algodón. Vivo en un clima bastante cálido y procuro comprar ropa de cama solo de algodón. Esta colcha es una de mis favoritas, no se deforma, no se ha desteñido, está super fresca y tiene el espesor perfecto, no es ni demasiado delgada ni demasiado gruesa. El único detalle es que viene ENORME, yo la compre para una cama queen y terminé usándola en una king size y aun así cubre bastante. La marca "Superior" se ha convertido en mi favorita para comprar sabanas y colchas.

Probably my fault for not looking close enough but this is not what I thought it was going to be.I thought it was one of those very thin 'quilted' pattern stitched bedspreads, but it's more like a granny bedspread from the 1970s or something.Having said that, I clearly got it for less than a third of the present list price (quite recently) so there is that and it is being put to use, doubled over, as an extra warmth blanket on someone else's bed so didn't go to waste.

Just got this today and washed it before putting on bed. It washed beautifully. Perfect weight, soft and feels like it will wear well. No stiffness at all. Bought the queen size for a twin bed. After washing, I will remove about 2/3” off one side to have it just skim the floor, the length is perfect for a fold back to cover the sleeping pillow. The colour is very true to the picture, and the finish is very matte, no shine at all. I could not be more pleased with this product!

Die Qualität auf den Bildern ist hochwertiger als die Realität. Dennoch macht die Tagesdecke keinen schlechten Eindruck. Sie Farbe Elfenbein ist jedoch klar ein helles gelb. Auf Nummer sicher geht man wohl mit schwarz oder weiß. Selbst grau ist eher Aubergine.
