Good little manual with lots of info for ketoids.
This little pocket guide was well written and contained a lot of information plus a good bit of new information that I wasn’t aware He recipes are not really useful as they are intended for Australians and contain foods I’ve never heard of. Recommend for keto content and readability.

Banting?
I like this book. It's easy to understand, enjoyable to follow, and the food is tasty. I have a question though. Why does Dr. Noakes call this diet 'Banting'? I read Banting's 'Letter on Corpulence' and it doesn't resemble anything in this book. Mr. Banting basically ate meat and drank a PROFOUND amount of alcohol. Just curious.

East read, easy to follow lifestyle nutritional plan.
Easy to follow, directions and easy to read and look back at. Great lifestyle plan to regain health. I would suggest this to anyone looking to become healthy.

Check on foods allowed before you regreat what you ate.
If your doing Banting you need this book to help keep you in line and informed. This book is easy to take with any where and check on foods that are inline with Banting a new way to eat.

Probably better in paperback
Charts, meal plans, lists don't show up well on my Kindle . There is no color coding either . I had really hoped this diet would stick to the scientific . It starts out good , criticizing other dietary information as false and not evidence-based and then proceeds to drift into its own biases . Perhaps a lot of it has to do with coming from South Africa whereas I live in Canada . We depend on preservatives and processing in order to have food to eat throughout our eight-month non-growing season. Our livestock also depends on being fed to survive . There are many things that are listed or mentioned as being unhealthy or not what we want to put into our bodies yet the scientific evidence is not there to justify these bans and biases.The main thrust of this diet, though, is to reduce carbohydrate intake and increase fat in the diet . I'd have been happier if they stuck to that premise.
