K2 lock de-icer, defrosting spray, frees your car from ice, 50 ml

A nice little aerosol with a nozzle designed to poke through the aperture cover of a car's door lock and then spray out a liquid directly inside the lock in one motion without getting your hands soiled. The liquid is a synthesized oil that will melt ice like that famous 'WD' numbered one does. This oil works it's way into a frozen lock quite quickly, also lubricating it and preventing a reoccurrence of the lock freezing up again for some time. It is very efficient at achieving the desired results. I use it as a preventative rather than a cure and squirt it into my car locks before an impending freeze even gets a look in. A countrywide chain of stores that specialise in selling car and bicycle parts do have their own brand of this lock de-icing spray but it's not always in stock so I got this on-line instead. I would advise you not to bother with one of those heat producing key-like devices. They are a tedious novelty and you'll discover that your lock will just freeze up again if the weather stays at sub-zero for a while anyway.Eamonn

After having problems with gate locks on our factory gates been frozen solid at 6am when we came to open up for a few days. I tried this stuff, it worked instantly and we've had no further issues of the locks been frozen up .So its a thumbs from me.

Did the job but the small, delicate nozzle fell onto the road the first time I used it and it took a while to find. Now I proceed with caution.

Does what it says. I got frozen out my car. I have a manual turn lock. The key wouldnt even go in. Popped this in and straight away i was able to get my key in a turn without thinking i was about the break the key. Very handy to have!
