In my experience latency is more a factor of your pc's processing speed (not so much an issue these days) but most importantly the drivers you are using to do your recording. So for example in Win XP I had no issues using the Omega ASIO drivers but in Win 7 I had to switch to ASIO4ALL WDM mode to get no latency. The Omega's driver WDM mode worked fine for Win 7 too. The Lexicon Omega is a great interface with a lot of versatility! **Q: One of the things im looking to use this with is guitar pro. will this allow me to capture only single notes at a time or can it capture chords?** A: I have had one of these junk things for more than 6 years. It does not work; look elsewhere regarding brand. If it works, it will hear your chords. **Q: Is it compatible with macOS Sierra?** A: Yup! Works with my mac! **Q: On the back where it says "in-s/pdif-out" can that be used as a stereo out?** A: Agree with the answer by Jeffry, dated March 16, 2017-- BUT, do not buy this unit. It's power supply insert will fail after a short while. It did on mine and it's not possible to repair because of the way it uses AC rather than DC current.
