Brilliant when used in the right way
I see a lot of negative reviews for this product which are very unfair. Yes, this powder tastes horrible when mixed with just water (or as one reviewer tried, coffee?). Complaining about this is like buying turmeric and complaining that it makes your strawberry milkshake taste weird. It is unflavoured protein that has been extracted from peas, it tastes exactly like it sounds. When you start using it as an ingredient in other things, however, it is much much better. I have found this protein powder to be very well suited to things that other powders are not. For instance, whey protein congeals into disgusting lumps when mixed into any hot liquid, but pea protein does not. I like to mix it into spicy soups, which the savoury pea flavour works very well with. If you want to use it in shakes, you definitely need to add sweetness (unless you want a savoury shake?). My current protein shake recipe is to blend a scoop of this powder with milk, frozen berries, an egg and a pinch of sucralose (bulk powders sells this too). I actually prefer this to the version made with whey protein (unflavoured). I've not tried it with almond milk or vegan alternatives to milk, but it will probably work too. Adding a banana will make the shake thicker and creamier too. I will continue to buy this powder, and also will continue to buy whey protein, and as a rule of thumb, use the whey in sweet recipes and the pea stuff for anything savoury. If you want something that you can just mix into water and shake, don't get this, get one of the flavoured powders.

Delicious to the hardcore consumer; unbearable to the rest.
So wow, this is delicious. On a scale of one to ten, this is a go. Took me about 3 meals to get used to it. Mixed with fridge-cooled water to a thick consistency and with absolutely nothing else added, I find it to be delicious. Mixed too thin or in addition to other ingredients (eg cocoa, oil, eggs, cinnamon, fruit, peanut butter) and it becomes unpleasant or even unbearably disgusting to me. The very first time I tried it, I treated it like my previous batch of chocolate flavour whey protein (choc full of soy) and attempted a pea protein chocolate mug cake which turned out so revolting that it almost made me throw up, and I am not a soft-hearted eater. I became deeply sad at that point and started to question my life choices like the other reviewer. But I immediately learned my lesson and stopped treating it like something that can become a dessert. It's never going to be some sweet milkshake or an ice cream Sunday treat (or sundae? You decide.) The trick is to keep it simple, cold and thick. To my palate, the thicker the consistency, the more pleasant the texture. If I am still in existence after this bag runs out, I will re-up with 5 more kis, unless someone decides to produce a soy-free whey protein which they won't. Everything on here is strictly my opinion. If you buy it, you are very likely to find it disgusting and want to throw out the entire bag after first use. The other reviewers are very accurate about this but I still have to five-star it as I now look forward to having it each day.

Good value.
I have to admit that on its own this tastes awful. I add a teaspoon of vanilla flavoured Whey powder to make it palatable.

Excellent plant-based protein
Really pleased with this protein powder. It’s a great way to boost protein intake without relying on dairy-based products, and I like the simplicity of a pea protein isolate. It’s versatile enough to use in a shake or add to a smoothie, making it easy to fit into a daily routine. The 500 g pack is a handy size, too. Exactly what I was looking for and very good value. Would happily buy again. 5/5

Definitely not unflavoured
I had high hopes for this being good because I've enjoyed their clear protein juices and protein shakes. Omg it is rank and far from unflavoured. The first time I tried it on a cup of tea, there was an overwhelming heavy earthy taste, tried the drink and it was like an earthy chicken soup cup of tea. Tried to persevere to see if I could ignore it and half way down the cup it just got thicker and thicker, at this point I threw the lot up. Next I tried it in soup, totally overwhelmed the taste of the soup and didn't like the texture it produced. I thought it might have been like their clear protein drinks, no flavour and no texture but then they are whey protein isolate and this is pea protein isolate. In conclusion I feel it's false advertising, it most definitely isn't unflavoured.

Game-changer !
Fantastic pea protein - and what a difference it has made. I noticed some weight gain (without changing anything) so I switched up my breakfast to target 30 g protein and 5 g fibre. 1 scoop of this in a green smoothie sets me well on my way to this target. And If I feel hungry around 4 pm (let's say I've had eggs, avocado and a slice of sourdough for breakfast on this day) then a green smoothie with a scoop of this at that time hits the spot too. Just this one change of increasing my protein intake did the trick and I returned to my regular weight within 4 weeks. The added bonus? I no longer crave something sweet because presumably the protein boost has stabilised my blood sugar, keeping my energy levels steady.

Don’t complain about the taste…
Anyone complaining that this taste disgusting has clearly not tried unflavoured Pea protein powder before. This is just what it tastes like! In fact, this is better than the last one I got. And yes, it dissolves very easily into my smoothies. It’s a bit like eating an apple and then complaining because the Apple tasted like an apple. If you haven’t tried P protein powder before, imagine adding half an old book to a milkshake. You do get used to it though and it’s worth it as there’s a huge amount of protein in there.

hmm won't get again
It has an odd slightly sweet/rancid taste. I purchased the vanilla one initially and that tasted kinda bitter- I thought it might be the stevia so ordered this one thinking that would solve the problem but it still tastes a bit odd. I will go back to sevenhills- more expensive but organic and has a natural slightly sweet taste.

PROTEINE VEGANE OTTIME

Very good
Dissolves good, not thick, very easy on the stomach. It's like you didn't drink anything at all. You can drink it in any small amount of water. Taste is a shocker the first sip, but you get used to it as you drink it. UPDATE: they improved the taste dramatically. Previously it’s been a test for every man or a woman - if you could drink that plain without vomiting, you were a hero of mankind. But it seems they figured out a way to make it actually taste decent. A bit nutty and earthy.

Muy buen producto
Utilizo esta proteína en polvo añadiéndola al porridge de avena. Como no tiene sabor, no altera el gusto, lo que la hace perfecta para la forma en que la consumo.
