Another cable to the drawer for the time of need. Seems of high quality.
I ordered this cable based on the many positive reviews. While I don't have a USB-C monitor to test it yet, I'm quite sure that it will work just fine when I get one; you can never have enough variety of cables in your drawer, and with modern Type-C monitors this would be very handy for connecting them with non-type-C sources. As of quality - it doesn't feel cheap and it has gold plating connectors which are more durable and less sensitive to corrosion.

Got really hot and stopped working after a month
---UPDATE--- After leaving this review, the company reached out to me to offer a free replacement. They sent me a new cable which has worked much better now and still works perfectly after several months, therefore i have changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars since the company were so helpful with a replacement cable which faces none of the original issues ---Original review--- I barely used the cable because of some big changes going on in my life, right after it arrived, but even still it stopped working after just a month, in the middle of use. When unplugging it, it was really hot on both HDMI end and USB-A end. Worked well until then with my Nreal Air and Nintendo Switch but i only got maybe 2 hours total use out of it.

would not connect.
I purchased this and when I plugged it in to my monitor and attemped to use it it would not function. It charged my device but would not display the input from my device to the monitor. It was not even recognized by my monitor as being attached to the HDMI PORT.

FINALLY - a cable that works for my portable monitor!
Did you know that pretty much all HDMI to HDMI cables are bidirectional (ie; doesn't matter which side you plug into the source vs. destination), but nearly all HDMI->USB-C cables are unidirectional (ie; one end is for the source of the video, while the other is for the destination/display)? It turns out that USB-C to HDMI cables are common, but HDMI to USB-C is not. That is because most monitors have HDMI as an input, not USB-C, so the cables are meant to have the USB-C end plugged in the PC (source) and the HDMI end plugged into the monitor (Destination/Display). Portable monitors, on the other hand, often just have USB-C ports for power and input, and no HDMI ports. In my case, my laptop only has one USB-C thunderbolt port, which I need for a hub to plug all of my other peripheral devices in (thumb drive, ring light, webcam, external speaker, etc.). Therefore, I could only use the HDMI port on either my hub or my laptop to attach my portable monitor. This requires either a bidirectional HDMI<->UCB-C cable, or a unidirectional "HDMI to USB-C", which is the opposite of most cables on the marketplace. This is the FIRST cable that actually WORKS with my portable monitor ((HDMI to USB-C). I admittedly initially purchased a few USB-C to HDMI cables, as I did not know about the unidirectional issue with these cables. Those initial cables obviously did not work, but not due to any fault in the cable itself, as they were meant to work in the opposite direction that I needed. However, since then I purchased SIX (6) other cables that were clearly listed as "HDMI to USB-C", and this one is the ONLY one of those 6 that worked! I tested this cable with a direct connection to my laptop, as well as through the HDMI port on my USB-C hub. Surprisingly both work just fine (many HDMI to USB-C cables have a disclaimer that they won't work through a hub). However, I must say that my USB hub gets REALLY hot when going through that way, so I wouldn't recommend using it through a hub unless the hub is designed to handle it. In my case, I plan to use it plugged directly into my HDMI port, so that won't be an issue.

Works as a cheap option for charging and using XReal Air, Kind of.
This will work for you if you want to charge your device and use AR glasses at the same time, but if your glasses use dp-alt like the XReal Air/Air2 do, you have to switch them to HDMI mode. If that works for you then this is a cheap option for devices with a full HDMI port -- so probably not your phone, not the Steam Deck, at least, not without an additional adapter. And you'll most likely want a usb-c female-to-female connector to attach the glasses OEM cable to. Once you add those in, this is not a great value, but if you already have them or a device with a full HDMI port on it, this is an OK choice.

Works but gets hot.
I saw the other review here for item B0BNX61QNV where the person said it got hot and had thermal pictures, I thought maybe they just got a bad one because I didn't see other reviews that talked about it. Nope, mine got noticeably hot also. And even worse because the heat is then being transferred into whatever device the HDMI connector is plugged into. I have since purchased a different product where the HDMI connector is on the end of a small cord. The cable is also kind of stiff and not great for my xreal glasses.

It works
Cord plenty long enough. Works well with my ROKU and the monitor on the YeSoul recumbent bike. Provides streaming services while exercising. Monitor only has a USB-C video input. Exercise stats still display in the corner of the screen.

Excellent for the XReal Air 2 Pro
Got this as a recommendation from reddit to be compatible with the XReal Air 2 Pro AR glasses, and oh it works perfectly!, 120hz 1080p without an issue, not a single drop in quality when connecting via this cable as opposed to using the original xreal cable. Works great with a 4080, as the 4080 I have only has 1 HDMI output its kind of a chore to swap around from my monitor to the cable but so far the cable fits snuggly and does not move even if I tug on it a bit due to sudden head movement. The usb cable coming off of the HDMI end fits perfectly into the back of the motherboard with adequate length still left on it to accommodate longer runs. Main connection to the glasses via the Type-C port is also perfect, fitting exactly into the glasses without leaving any extra length on the connector that would be exposed. Overall a great cable wish I got a little longer one but it is great!
