better design
My old knife black looked nice but it was completely vertical without any angle to it. so I would have to pull it out from under my upper cabinets to get a knife out of the block because there wasn't enough clearance between the bottom of the upper cabinets and the top of the knife block. This solved the issue and takes up around the same amount of space. I only had the other knife block because I wanted something simple and darker wood than the bamboo one I had for years. but the design was flawed. This one has the dark wood I wanted with the functionality in design.

When counter space is at a premium…
A good solution to limited surface area, and I really like the modern design of the slanted lines and sleek metal stand. That said: Do not claim in the main listing title that it’s acacia, and wait till the description to reveal that it’s rubber wood with an “acacia brown finish.” A product intended for housing sharp knives is inevitably going to get nicks, and the finish will then need touching up since the wood underneath is pale. Mine already has a couple of bare spots even before use. Also there’s only one large slot among the five, so it can’t fit both a chef’s knife and a santoku, which are standard in any basic knife set.

Attractive, solidly made with a small footprint
I like this block because it's good for smaller or limited spaces. The wood block has a nice finish and stain and I like the design of mounting it on the silver stand. My only regret is that there's only one slot for a chef's or French knife, and I have more of those than any other size and used them most often. Two slots that would fit these would have been my preference. But with a small block, I can't really complain. It looks great and beats laying them in a drawer, certainly.

Rubber wood
Never heard of it before but this block is made of it. Easy to use, holds 5 knives of different sizes. The stand connection seems unstable

It cannot fit in any knife.
I have tried multiple sets to fit in this knife holder, but it cannot hold any knife. So, it is not universal. I have attached pictures to help you decide if the knife holder is suitable for your set. It is a wooden knife holder without any sharpening feature. I am also concerned about sanitation since I do not see inside the holes, which cannot be cleaned. The wood has a good appearance, however. It is steady and classic.

Fun Looking Tight Fit
These look fantastic and I was ready to rock these but alas, they’re sized way small. Probably 2 sizes at least. Very narrow as well. Killer look so if you buy go big and you won’t go wrong

Good for one chef knife
Slots that hold the knives are way too small. This fits 1 chef knife, two thin utility knives, and 2 paring knives. I don't know about your kitchen setup, but in my knife block I like to have 1 chef knife, 1 slicing knife, 1 santoku/vege knife, 1 utility, 1 chopper, 1 paring. With this block, I can fit 3 of those into the 5 holes.

It Holds The Knives, And Looks Good Doing It
I'm not overly excited about it, or displeased in any way. It looks good in the kitchen, and holds some knives that didn't have a home. Isn't too terribly expensive. And, I kinda Dig It 👍
