Disclaimer: I did receive this item for free to try out. (On this item I do pay % in fed taxes so it comes out to about $8) HOWEVER! All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it.The ring light tripod extends to about 63” which is alright. It’s not too tall but also not too short. It's an acceptable height. Love the light itself. It’s very bright and has SOOO many options. It has RGB and you can even get warm, natural or cool whites! There are 10 different brightness settings. Just so many options! Comes with a little bluetooth remote to control your phone shots from afar which is a nice touch! There are multiple ways you can do this, they give you several options to hold your phone. You can connect it to have your phone in the center of the ring, you can use the gooseneck thing to clip it under the ring and have it sticking out. You can attach an actual camera instead since it uses the screw on method you can just screw your camera onto it. The ring light itself once attached can be tilted. It’s quite nice. The controls for the light itself is also in a little controller connected to the USB plug wire (which you can also put it onto an adapter to plug into an outlet. Nice and versatile). All the buttons are pretty self explanatory. The buttons are literally labeled up/down (to change brightness), on/off, RGB/ and Mode.Now the tripod/selfie stick itself though. That’s another story. That’s NOT so great lol. Extending it and also opening up the legs were no problem. You tighten the leg part and that’s fine. But after extending, you keep it tightened and in place by TWISTING. There’s no locking mechanism. At one point I guess I didn’t twist hard enough (I TWISTED SUPER HARD THOUGH!!!!) so it just didn’t stay up and the entire thing fell and shrank back into itself. It scared me and it was awful. Good thing my phone wasn’t attached that risked the entire thing falling over and potentially breaking my phone (or camera depending on what you have attached on there). Super unsafe and unstable. It’s because they tried doing this thing where the tripod is a combo and it doubles up as a selfie stick if you separate the main extending portion from the legs. Which as a selfie stick will have that same problem of extending and it doesn’t stay extended if you don’t twist it tight enough. Even though I totally thought I twisted super tight it’s just NOT ENOUGH. It should honestly lock!!! Even selfie sticks they may not lock but when you extend it doesn’t just CLOSE into itself again. It’s super tight once you extend and you have to push hard to close it up. This thing does not do that. Also I cannot for the life of me detach it to use as a selfie stick. I haven’t figured it out yet and there are NO INSTRUCTIONS!!! Well there is this small 1 page of instructions but they don’t teach you how to separate it. They literally just tell you: Separate it for the selfie stick portion! That’s it, no elaboration on that, no photos, no nothing. Gee thanks. That’s super not helpful.Due to how unusable that tripod stand/selfie stick portion is I cannot give this more than 3 stars. And it’s only 3 stars because the light itself is great! The stand SUCKS.

I enjoyed the item that I ordered

The tripod is so flimsy. Doesn’t lock properly and once you put the ring light and phone on it, the entire thing starts to collapse. The remote only syncs up to my iPhone every now and then, not consistent. The ring light brightness does not adjust at all; those two buttons on the remote are useless for me.

Great product fast shipping sadly arrived broken but was replaced and the replacement came fast and undamaged will surely order again will add pictures later once at home
