It is a sturdy dependable spot cleaner that has not disappointed me for the price. I cleaned my entire 12 X15 living room carpet. I can’t wait to use it on my car interior seats and floor carpet. Yes, the dirty water reserve is limited……but think about it……it’d be that much heavier to remove from the machine. The machine itself is light and compact. I love its smaller compact size! I was enjoying using this baby. Is the suction good? It does not lift the water out on just one swipe. The suction is better when I make sure the handle is parallel to floor. It does pretty good on first swipe. I simply repeat it two more times. If I want that kind of powerful suction, it’s going to cost me more and the machine will be twice as heavy. I love it and as I said, I used it on a room size carpet. Just to lift up superficial dirt. I was impressed ….is what I was when I finished. I did not use the spray wand though to wet the carpet. I used a bucket of warm water with my favorite laundry detergent, just a small amount, added double amount of vinegar, and used the washcloth to wet the carpet. Then used the hand held wand to suction up. And to clean out the hose when I was done, I simply filled my bucket with clean water and stuck the wand in to suck it up. just remember that the collection unit will be full very quickly. I dumped out the water……repeated it two more times, till I could see the waste water was clean. I wrapped the cord around the machine as indicated, the electrical cord…..very long cord, heavy duty cord, impressive, I wrapped around as indicated. Air-dried the receptacle waste water unit, and once air-dried, reattached. Done! It’s a good machine. I highly encourage you to purchase this if you only need a dependable and light, yet effective, spot cleaner for carpet, rugs, or car interior once in a while. If you have constant, heavy duty dirt problems, and will be using this type of machine a lot, then I would recommend a Dirt Devil spot cleaning machine that would be the next level up. Can’t go wrong with a Dirt Devil.

If you're looking for a one-liner, here it is: I want to spot-clean everything.Living with seven pets, messes are just a part of life. It's like pets aim their vomits or accidents at carpet or furniture.. any sort of fabric to soil rather than the nice and easy-to-clean wood flooring or tile.Having to use half a roll of paper towels, and a rag or two to clean the fabrics is frustrating, and made me dread even having pets indoors. Even though I have done it for years at this point, the final straw was when a dog decided the holiday tree was a superb spot to pee. It soiled the fake snow, the skirt, and the rug underneath. We tossed the snow and skirt because we couldn't really wash those. To clean the rug, I was again cleaning with paper towels, rags, laundry detergent, and carpet freshener. With this method, I did feel not feel the carpet was truly becoming clean. It made me feel gross about my home, even though I clean it in other ways every week.In comes deal days, where I found this spot cleaner advertised. I had been wanting one, and sure, I could have asked for it as a gift, but I really wanted it sooner. So I sprung on the deal and made the purchase.It arrived, and sat for a few days before suddenly a dog gets an upset stomach and vomits on - the rug. Yes, the same rug. I whip out this machine and read the instructions. I use a paper towel to pick up the solids, then added water and cleaner to the machine and chose a head for the hose (it comes with two heads).I turn it on and start cleaning. I spray the cleaner/water mix onto the rug and then start vacuuming it up. WOOOOOOOOW - was my internal thought the entire time. It was so awesome to see the grossness just disappear with ease. Since the heads are clear, you can see when the water starts to run clear and it assures you the spot is indeed clean! And since it is a vacuum, you can keep vacuuming until you see no more water flowing into it and you know you have gotten it all. The spot does stay a little damp after, but not nearly as bad as if you used just a rag and cleaner.The dog continued to have an upset stomach for a week, and even though I was walking him often, he had an accident on our bathroom rug. Again, not any of the tile of the entire other portion of our bathroom - just the small rug. In comes this tool again. Effortless. I do advise, make sure you remove the solids.. or.. the excess bits as best you can before using it. It's just overall healthier for the machine and makes it less disgusting to clean.The machine itself can be cleaned pretty easily. To clean the hose, just suck up clean water for a bit and then air to help dry it out. Take the tank out and head off the hose and run them with soap and water. Dry them before putting them back into the machine. That's it!Now I am prepared for any and all messes, and am telling myself not to 'spot clean' the entire house just because this machine is so fun to use.

This machine is totally worth it. I am a dog and human mom so cleaning is happening all the time in my home. In this picture, this is an orgain milk smoothie that my kid spilled on the couch. I cleaned it the next day and took a picture right after cleaning it so the whole arm was soaked (the pic with dark socks). Then the next morning I took another picture to see what the couch looked like fully dry (white socks) and honestly it’s pretty good for not having that $300+ professional couch cleaning price tag. I can literally clean most stains on the couch now. One warning I do have is you cannot clean one tiny spot you need to clean an entire area so that you don’t leave a water stain outline. Idk if that makes sense but iykykTotally worth it for 80 ish $$$.
