Creative Cuts by Kerian- The Ultimate Beginner Book: Stained Glass Patterns (7 pieces and under)

I nearly didn't buy this book after reading the reviews but I am glad I did. As a beginner I had already bought a couple of good books on technique but the patterns weren't that great or were a bit daunting. I liked the idea that each piece had no more than 7 pieces as I am a hobbyist and often only have a couple of hours at a time. There are some really nice ideas - mostly suncatchers and the lack of colour is not a drawback as I never have the "right" glass anyway so makes me think about the colour choices I would like and - if it all goes wrong the projects are small. So what if it isn't the glossiest of paper I am really happy with this book because it gives me lots of different things to try as I begin my stained glass journey.

Love this. Patterns are clear and easy to follow.

I bought for my granddaughter who's just starting out in stained glass. She lives the cute, simple patterns!

Was not exactly thrilled with what was received. Expected a little bit better quality

I was expecting more from the book. There’s no guidance on the patterns shown and only some have colored examples. To make it worse author says they will send you pdf copy of book if you bought the physical but she ignored my email.
