Strong solid bars to hold the frame in place and the size works for my 8 pound cat should work. Definitely made for small pets.Update! Finally tried this out and my cat did great. She was a bit nervous but after a bit of driving she did great. This is a must buy for a cat. They hate the closed crates.

I ordered this for my son's Shih Poo pup that he will receive as a Christmas present. The Pup seat is so cute and creative useful equipment. I am ready for my son's pup to try it out. Pics soon to update the review!The pup seat is similar to a basket, it unfolds and has bar support to make the seat stand out firm and there is velcro to attach the bars within the seat to ream in place. There is a padded cushion that goes in as well to provide pup some comfort. I like the Pup seat as straps similar to a child's car seat for security and prevent shifting of the seat when positioning. The setup 4 stars, once pup has tried it out, I will give 5 stars!

Easy to setup in the car and my baby loved it. I felt better knowing that he was securely hooked in and can’t fall off the seat if I had a sudden stop.

This was a nice dog travel seat. The straps need to be made more adjustable up and down and straps need to be more accustomed built for today's more modern carrs seat strapping

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this for my chihuahua cuz she left to jump around the car and I don't want to get into an accident I love that it's soft inside and you can adjust it to the front seat or the back seat or the highest low most of all the little strap that's inside where you could tie it and hook it to their vest it's a good safety item I recommend this little chair it's awesome and it's breathable and it doesn't look too hot

These are great!!I have 2 kittens that I'm training to be my adventure buddies. These are perfect for Jeep rides for them.Sturdy basket and attaches security to the seat securely, it has a lead to clip them in so they stay in place, and it's adjustable for when they get bigger. I love that it can be elevated so they can see out the window.
