This sturdy toy is a favorite of ours for packing in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, and is big enough and special enough to be a "WOW" gift, with its smiling vehicle and winsome character!Knowing OCC shoeboxes go to children in remote, war torn, impoverished, and disaster stricken areas, and may be the first and/or only gift some will ever receive, we try hard to not only include something to wear, something to hug, and critical school supplies, but also some high quality, durable toys that will bring delight for a long time to come. They've proven to hold up well to rough and repeated play...and being able to find them at great sale prices makes this gift a great find! (Hint: I've added several such sets to one of my lists, and simply act fast when I'm notified of a reduced price)!Little People toys fit the bill for younger children, are absolutely adorable, work well for giving without worry of offense for a whole host of countries, cultures, and beliefs, AND have captivating expressions and designs sure to inspire laughter and imagination!We use them most for ages 2-4, but in areas of the world where children aren't exposed to the abundance, "sophistication," or distractions of western culture, (or in places where fun toys are simply very rare), these are a great addition to the 5-9 age boxes, too. And, of course, these are awesome, timeless, toys for spurring imagination and screen-less play in first world situations, too!

Fisher-Price makes toys that are sturdy and well made. No sharp edges or easy to break pieces. Our 1 year old likes pushing this little tractor around.

This is a cute toy for a toddler or small child with a good price. Easy to hold but too big for their mouth.

Cute Little People vehicle set, this one a green tractor with a girl figure. It's still reasonably priced at present; some of them, same size and very similar, are three times the cost, seemingly related to which figure is included. These 2-piece sets are sturdy and a good size for little hands; no small parts, just tractor and removable driver. Kids love the Little People!Edit to add: This set (currently under $5) is less expensive than some of the single Little People boy or girl figures alone. Nice addition to any of the larger Little People sets. I've bought several of these.

She’s adorable with her muddy overalls and cute little tractor. My toddler drives her around and has so much fun with her. It’s not battery powered or noise making. My two year old could play with her little people vehicles all day. They are built solid and the tractor has survived many collisions into other little people vehicles lol.

I loved getting little people for my sons when they were young and continued this with my grandson. The quality and size are perfect for toddlers. My son‘s little people lasted till they outgrew them & I donated them. Considering the quality and use of use and how it can help with their imagination, not just being some loud toy or screen I wish I had never donated my sons and that I still had it to give my grandson. I love that they’re easy for him to use and grab and the huge assortment of options to get in little people toys. So far my grandson has a growing collection of little people sets- Mickey, Batman & farmers… The functionality, durability, and appropriateness for toddlers makes these highly recommendable. I love to watch my grandsons imagination when he’s playing with them and has Mickey talking to Batman. I prefer these to when his eyes are glazed with a blank stare at the TV or iPad or hearing a noisy toy I got to annoy my son lol.
