Quite small
It is the dimensions given, but still is a bit small for most jobs.

ARCHAEOLOGIST'S REVIEW
I've been trying out a variety of trowels on excavations because I'm sick of the extra thick bladed WHS ones...This one is pretty good. Has a nice comfy handle (which is usefully bright blue so is harder to misplace). Blade is thinner at the point than at its shoulder, making it pretty good for getting nice sharp corners in trenches or sondages. Quite flexible at the point so be careful if you use it to lever rocks out of things as it's liable to launch soil into your face. The thicker metal at the shoulder is good for heavy trowelling, and the thinner point is perfect for cutting through clay rich soils (though I'd probably use the thin bladed Marshalltown for extensive clay slicing action).Pretty sturdy blade, although a slightly different shape to your average WHS or Marhalltown so that takes a little time to get used to.

Good quality
I've given 4 stars because i bought this to replace mastic pointing around windows and it didn't seem the right shape and size for the job. But perhaps it's not designed for that task? But it is well made / good quality

I brought this as a cheap replacement for my list trowel and I actually like it way more than my other. It's lightweight and sharp, it's sturdy and little flexible so it's really nice for cleaning up features.
