Works well but watch for splashing!
This product works really well on cherries ( havenβt tried on anything else yet but would imagine it might work on olives too ) I the write up it mentions splashing if used with larger fruit so fair enough I was warned ) but having used it on what I considered normal sized cherries my wife pointed out splashed up the wall!! Whoopsie! However this is NOT really an issue, just cup your hand around it when using ( but not too close so you nip your hand : donβt ask me how I know you can do that ) I also suggest not using it βhardβ slowly and softly is the way to go. Looks like it should last longer than other plastic ones I have seen

Really great product
Quickly and easily remove stones from cherries with minimal flash loss, does cause a bit of cherry juice splatter, but not a dealbreaker

Brilliant Cherry Stoner
This is an item that is obviously only fit for one purpose - stoning cherries - something you probably do only two or three times a year max, during cherry season if you use fresh cherries in your recipes. So for the rest of the year it sits in your kitchen drawer, taking up space. However, for those two or three times a year you need to stone cherries, it is brilliant! Does the job quickly and efficiently. So much easier and less messy than trying to stone cherries without it.

Perfect, reliable, should never need replacing
Brilliant. Bought it for olives as I keep buying the wrong ones by mistake. Now I don't have to worry! I can pit a pizza's worth in seconds :) Seems perfectly dishwasher-proof so far. Comes with a transparent plastic band to keep it shut - I put this on whenever I put it away because space is tight. Haven't yet worked out if it's faster to use it upside-down or right-way-up.Important: this device does not depend on any blades to penetrate the flesh of whatever is being pitted, so is unlikely to blunt. The pitting spike is as if the grooves on a cross-haired screwdriver were extended all down the shaft, and then the tip removed to leave four pointed corners surrounding a concavity. I do not believe I shall ever need to buy a replacement for this item. I shall definitely consider buying these in bulk if I ever go into the stoning business.

Easy to use - works well
This little gadget works very well. It's very easy to use and you can clean it by holding it under a tap.A word to the wise though! Pushing stones out of cherries generates quite a lot of juice and it can get anywhere, indeed everywhere. So pit your cherries somewhere that is easy to wipe down and wear an apron!

Multi use and sturdy
Unlike another of these I bought, this feels sturdy and robust. I use for cherries and olives regularly.

Simple and works
Does what it says on the label. I wanted this for damsons which are a bit too big for most cherry-stoners but this one coped OK.No rating given for "sheerness" because sheerness is not a property I recognise or understand in a cherry stoner!
