Runs smoothly for gaming
We use the laptop for Fortnite, Rainbow 6, and much more. The only downfall is if you do not keep it plugged in the games will lag and you really should buy a laptop fan/holder to go along with it because it will get very warm while using it for gaming. Overall it is a very nice laptop and as long as it is plugged in it runs at very high speeds.

Used up product warranty? Affordable gaming on a budget.
Was this item returned? My HP warranty has expired. I have no problems with the product and model and quite happy with the purchase, except for the "registration part" and finding out the warranty has expired since it's supposedly a brand new laptop. It's such a hassle as there's no easy way to dispute the expiration. The laptop model isn't the latest and it isn't top of the line but if you are on a budget then this could be for you. Looks 👍 great. Performs great! it's not as cheap as I wanted it to be after taxes but it certainly is cheaper still.

Best bang for buck gaming laptop IMHO
This has been a great computer, plays everything that I've thrown at it, not at top specs but more then enough for me. Thermal control is better then expected, it can be a little loud but nothing near my last asus ROG machine. I upgraded to 16GB ram and windows ran better but didn't notice a ton in games.Pros:-Bang for your buck-USB-C-easy to upgrade-Looks like a gaming laptop without being obnoxious-Power brick is really compact for this type of computerCons:-The middle hinge is a little scary, you have to open it from the middle. If you open it with the corners it flexes the screen a lot.-Wish the power button was on the side so I don't have to open it when it's plugged into my monitor-Battery life is good for a gaming laptop but realistically 3-4 hours of normal use. 1-2 hours of gaming maybe.-USB-C isn't thunderbolt

It's amazing!
This computer can run skyrim at max power/graphics/etc with 75+ mods without even a stutter in the frame rate. It cannot stream at a high quality, but after messing with some settings it appears to be able to stream at a medium-low quality with no issues. The battery life is fine, it lasts decently long, especially when playing high-drain games. So far, it's taken most of what I've thrown at it like a champ, including the brick and feral squirrel :)Oh, and the sound quality is amazing! Actually better than my partner's computer, which was a more expensive model, haha.
