My mailman actually thanked me for this purchase. Looks great, heavyweight, and holds a lot! Stable and easy to mount. Fits perfectly outside my home. Hardware is nice for great stability.

This mail box gives understated appeal to our entry gate and is sturdy as well as durable. The only negative is that the directions for assembly are poorly written and are inadequate. I watched a video, which was wrong in showing how to assemble the box. After the 3rd go, I got it right. Perhaps it was me, but the sequencing is important. Hint: the back of the mailbox needs to be the LAST thing to install AND make sure the top if fully secured in each slot prior to putting the back in place. Taking the mailbox apart to to it over (to correct your mistake) is hard to do. I love the final product and the space or numbers is great.

Pros: easy assembly. I did it by myself in just a few mins and only needed a screwdriver. Not sure why the instructions say you need a wrench. The mailbox is huge, but not gaudy. My mail lady said she loves theseCons: the screws to secure it to the post are garbage and the mailbox is a little wobbly up top. We are going to brace it somehow for extra security because I can see it snapping the post as the pastic weakens. The mailbox secures to the post very well, but the plastic for the post sleeve could be thicker to support it better. I'm betting it'll break right where the 4x4 inside stops if we don't add supportTips: don't even bother with the screws they give you. The heads break off because they're cheap zinc. We swapped them out with a thicker screw and it worked flawlessly. When assembling, I did the mailbox first, then secured it to the post. Use the ground or a sturdy surface to push the pieces against while you're putting it together unless you have hulk strength. The pieces do fit snug. A mallet may also be helpful if you don't have a lot of strength

My tiny daughter in law put it together and it was really easy. Simple instructions. Suggest using an electric drill and maybe rubber mallet. Then just slips over your existing mailbox pole, with 4 screws to secure it on pole. So strong, water tight, and big. I'd suggest 3" numbers and letters. I bought 2" and they look a lil small on it. One of rhe best things I've boughten off Amazon.

Perfect for small packages, magazines, newspapers and oversized mailers, they all are able to be layed flat. Great depth, fade and water resistant a plus. The 3 inch numbers fit good within their designated area! Looks great too!

We purchased this mailbox to place outside of our new home. It came packaged nicely, assembly was just clicking parts into place, and screwing the base on. Mailbox is huge!! Color is nice, product is very durable, and it’s definitely the appropriate height as a regular mailbox. We are very happy with this purchase. I included a photo with a 15.5fl. oz. container of Dawn soap inside, to demonstrate size.Note: Make sure to follow the instructions step by step, so that you don’t click the wrong parts into place.

Great looking, made of sturdy materials and easy to assemble. To ensure that the mailbox is sturdy make sure you follow the size requirements of the 4x4 wooden post.
