Star Wars R2-D2 Lunch Box - Blue / White - Vintage Star Wars Themed Meal Holder

Awesome, awesome, and then some more awesome on top. Not a huge lunchbox but plenty big enough for my son to fit in his drink, yoghurt, snack packet, cheese and a bagel. The canvas/pvc lunchbags were a nuisance as they kept coming home with yoghurt soaked into the edges from his empty pot and this being metal has solved that problem completely.

My 5 year old son loves this R2D2 metal tin. It is well made, sturdy handle, and really cute. Colours are bright and its wearing well.However, I bought it him as a lunch box, and although I'm sure the dimensions are mentioned somewhere, I wasn't prepared for just how small it is! You can just about fit the bare essentials of a five year olds lunch in it, but you can't have an apple and a carton of drink and a sandwich! You can squeeze in a bar or a small pot of something, but it's very limiting.I realise its not sold as a lunchbox, but if anyone else is thinking of using it for the same, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

This is great, brought it for my 28 year old boyfriend as a jokey present but he actually takes it to work with him! haha! pretty sturdy and would fit a childs lunch inside

I love Star Wars and was so excited when I found this :)It's quite small... only fits one sandwich or a small tupaware with soupit's super cool tho, I can feel the envy from children when they look at my lunchbox! mwahahah! :)

Great looking but very small.

Bought this for my daughter as she is a huge R2-D2 fan - good size for a lunchbox.It became the envy of her friends (and their parents at Kindy too :)).

It does its job. The metal doesn't bow or anything, but the lid keeps coming off because the rod holding it in place slides out. The finish has already started to scrape away, despite the fact that I only ever keep it in a fabric rucksack, and it's kind of a bummer to give a review less than 4 stars. As I said it's functional, and is deep enough to hold all the bits and pieces I need it to, but it's just not a high-quality item.

This looks so cute but as soon as I opened it the whole catch fell off. Very sad little boy. I hope they send another.
