Neca 61420 DC Comics Originals 20-Inch Superman Leg Lamp

This is an adorable lamp! The kids love it. Both the lamp bulb under the shade lights up and the leg part lights up, either together or separately so that you can turn both on or just the actual leg part for a really nice night light affect. It does come with instructions for changing out the low watt light bulb in the leg (5watt I think, similar to what a regular night light uses); however, so far we have not had to change. The switch for the light is at the bulb under the shade, a turn knob switch, which I like over the switch on the cord. Overall the lamp is nicely made for its purpose and does not look cheap; it is very cute and appropriate for baby, toddler and kids room!

I ordered this for my brother, who is a Superman superfan. He really liked it, but I was a little disappointed in the size. I thought it would be regular lamp size, but it was more like a child's lamp. Pretty hilarious though.

The actual lamp itself, which I bought as a Christmas gift for my Superman obsessed brother, looks to be of a decent, desk lamp size and quality. I think he'll love it, but the box and packaging the lamp was in was ripped up, dented and looked obviously opened and returned in a haste. Definitely not the quality of packing I expected and wanted for gift giving.

The only problem I would say is that it was a bit crooked. I guess I'm use to lamps being straight. But I just gave it a gentle bend and goods as new. It had two settings. ..the leg lights up dim and another click turns on the lamp. Perfect night light as well.

Cute lamp! But way overpriced. For a Superman-themed room it is perfect!
