Older kit, fun build.
This was my first PG. The LED is a very complicated, find a tutorial. Go ahead and order the batteries and have a screwdriver ready to go.

Great model but terrible durability.
I've had this model since the early 2000's, so close to 20 years now. One of my biggest complaints is the fact that it's so fragile and brittle that one wrong way to pick it up or accidentally knock it over, pieces are flying off. I highly recommend to buy polystyrene glue, it's a type of glue that literally bonds the two pieces of plastic together. Which makes the overall model feel more durable and stable but you have to be careful where you add the glue because you don't want to glue two parts are supposed to be movable. The Gundam model itself is very straight forward and easy to put together, it has a bit more pieces than your average gunpla kit but it's not too complicated to put together. It also comes with NO stand and being that's almost 12 inches tall, if it falls, pieces WILL brake and/or pop off. It's wings can get in the way and take a lot of room if you open them up, which also adds a lot of weight instability if you have it wide open.Overall, I like the Gundam but I don't recommend it for first time users.Side note: Modern Perfect Grade Gunplas are better built and more durable than this 20 year old version.

Looks great but is rough to build.
I love the way this model looks, but it has serious durability issues. It doesn't come with a stand which it really needs. Some of the small parts are finicky and brittle. Don't but this as your first perfect grade model. I would recommend this model but understand that you will have to put extra work into it compared to other perfect grade kits.

Expert Build for a Highly Rewarding Experience
This was worth every penny to me and then some, just for the experience and the utterly rewarding beauty when this model kit finally comes together. Building it is an absolute nightmare. If this is your first PG, then stop, take your time and do some research. Know what you're getting yourself into, especially for older kits such as this (over 23 years old). The construction manual is in pure Japanese and the instructions aren't as great as modern manuals. In addition, the construction lacks some recent updates, but none of this was enough to deter me because I knew exactly what I was getting into.As you can see from the pictures, I already have the Ver. Ka MG, which is highly detailed and a very good build, but it's small and a touch flimsy. The PG is VERY sturdy, especially if you screw it in properly. It's also BIG and the wing span is MASSIVE. Perfect for custom touches. Overall, this is definitely my favorite kit, even more than Ver. Ka MG, simply because it fits my needs.1 - I was aware this was an expert build and the difficulty associated with building PGs (this is my first), so I went in with that mental preparation. PGs can be a serious pain and I'd imagine many casual gunpla hobbyists might not be entirely interested in the sheer difficulty associated with it.2 - This kit is MASSIVE. It easily dominates the shelf over any other kit next to it, especially with its impressive wing span.3 - It's beautiful. Seeing how gorgeous EW Zero is in its full glory was worth all the pain I went through blistering my fingers and almost destroying it from incorrect configuration.4 - It's STURDY. Can't tell you how annoying it is when model kits break apart so easily. I had to super glue some pieces here and there but no big deal. The inner frame is well built so this kit isn't going to fall apart just because some wind blows on it.Again, this is my favorite kit because of the experience to difficulty to reward ratio. I intentionally wanted a MASSIVE kit that was VERY sturdy and to be specific--- I wanted WING ZERO EW, no other PGs. So in this regard, this kit has fulfilled all my needs. I love it and I recommend it only to those who are willing to endure the challenge. Should you get through it, the reward is worth all the trouble.
