Super! Good purchase.
The media could not be loaded. Very good. Sturdy. Easy to replace switch, just make sure you get the right one of the 3 versions. Installed in a jiffy but no mention of how to in the supplied instructions. You have to carefully dismantle it. It's just press to click! Works from at least 7m away!

Really good but be careful of original switch wiring
used this to switch on my garage lights so i didn't need to physically switch on as often carrying items into my garage.issues are: you need a deep back box (recommend 40mm), you need to connect ALL neutral wires (must have a neutral)set up fiddly - do read instructionsmin lux levels not low enough (dusk still didn't trigger light)using switch "manually as normal switch" a pain as have to press very small button which isnt obvious or easy to touch so its best used in automatic mode.BUT good value, easy to wire up and does work well

Not working after power cut
Got two of these and used one for my landing hall light (one 5 watt LED). Worked perfectly to begin but then it appeared to become less sensitive (yes I checked the settings). Then last night there was a power cut and when the power came back on the switch was dead. There are the equivalent neutral wire type in the outer hall and these were fine.I have replaced it with the spare which is fine for the moment, but it would appear that these switches have woefully poor surge protection. I would not buy this type again.

This is a joy!
I love this. I tried two other kinds before I bought this model. For those that don't realise, this model uses a LIVE, LOAD, & NEUTRAL. Most often offer LIVE & LOAD only. Once wired up, the switch works like a charm. You can easily set the switch off time to be anything up to 30 minutes. I've set mine to 15 minutes and situated it in the kitchen... A light which is often inadvertently left on all night.I absolutely recommend this switch. It looks lovely and is really easy to install. One last thing: sometimes electronic switches can need a really deep recess. This one doesn't seem to need that. Most people should find it just fits without having to purchase an adapter plate.

Shoots itself in the foot a bit
This comes with next to no instructions. It slipped my mind that the listing actually has a much better explanation of how to install this than the physical product, so as a result I spent an awful long time figuring out how to pull it to bits and get at the contact screws. That's the hardest part because it's really very easy to install.I have two places I'd want to use this. One is my loft where I have to go up a ladder and then fumble around in the dark for the switch and the other is my garage. There's nowhere else in the house that this would come in especially useful.Unfortunately the listing rules out the sort of temperature changes my loft would see and also the flourescent lighting in my garage.Despite this I fitted the switch in my garage for testing purposes. It works well at detecting movement and coming on when it's actually dark. I then set it to go off again after a set time. There is a bit of a crack and flash when it comes on, which is possibly due to the strip lighting and I'll be removing this again imminently. It's a shame because the switch is very versatile. It can be set to come on with movement or to be manually switched on, but go off automatically or to be fully manual. I might find a use for it yet.

Beautifully made and thought out
Really impressed with this sensor, it is well made, elegant design, practical and versatile. The instructions are comprehensive (but perhaps a little more wordy than necessary). It fits a standard UK back box - check the depth. Can be set to different sensitivities and timer lengths, and to operate all the time or only at night. Clicks when it turns on. I am using it to operate a bathroom fan, but it could do lights or other appliances within its power rating.

Work well even if operation is a little un-intuitive.
These switches work really well and have a range of modes such as occupancy mode which will turn the lights on when it detects movement and vacancy mode which will turn the lights off when it detects that a room is empty. There are several options to configure timing and functionality of these options. The switches also work with 2 wire connections in older houses. However turning off the lights is a pain, you can't just press the main switch to turn the lights off, you have to press a very small switch with your finger nail. Once you do that the lights work well but it makes them slightly annoying to use in a residential settings This isn't obvious and isn't how most people intuitively use a light switch. I still have to think twice even after having them for a few months so docking one star.

Excellent bit of kit , works great
The media could not be loaded. Great sensor switch !I have installed this in our kitchen cupboard as so many times I have opened it and someone has left the light on , which then in turn heats the cupboard up which has the freezer in !Fitted directly in the old switch space , so no mods there to do.Easy to wire up and surprisingly easy to set up , I thought it would be a nightmare reading the instructions , but when you are doing it , it is easier than you think.I have set it to come on and stay on for 30 secs , but if your still in the cupboard it will stay onWorks really well ad no more worrying if the light has been turned offGreat value for money , would recommend
