Fantastic Folding Knife
The media could not be loaded. For around £20 this is an absolute bargain. If lost it's not a heartache to replace. It's also a very aesthetically pleasing knife. Most complaints I see are about the locking frame, the thumb assists not being useful and the opening mechanism being too hard to open. The locking frame wasn't my favourite type of locking mechanism at first but once you get used to it it's very easy and becomes almost natural to unlock it.As you can see in the video, the opening is as smooth as butter and the thumb assist really helps with the opening. The first problem people face is they say it's too hard to open comfortably. To remedy this all it takes is a dab of grease and maybe even adjusting the pivot screw for the bearing. A 2 minute solution, easy as pie. Once this becomes smooth the thumb assists become useful. It came surprisingly sharp, being able to shave hair off my forearm. In saying that it could still use a finishing sharpen. It's very rigid too and doesn't flex which surprised me.

Very useful knife
I purchased this knife for use in an emergency when kayaking. It is lightweight, easy to open and locks in place. Unlocking is slightly tricky, but smooth when you get the hang of it. Could do with a hole to put a string on as currently the string rubs against the blade when the blade is shut.

Be careful - totally illegal
A lovely pocket knife but totally illegal to carry a blade that locks without a very good reason to have it on you. Locking mechanism is tricky but works well. Bought 2 but one going back and the other staying only in my workshop for day to day use. There should be a warning about the legality of this knife. Dimensions fine, but the locking isn't okay. Wickedly sharp too.

Well made, nice & light..awesome !
Well made, beautifully finished, nice & light..bit of a pain to open one handed with thumb alone..I have big, strong hands & still need to use thumb on button & index finger above the blade pivot..easy once you get used to it & it might loosen up a little bit over time

Decent knife at a reasonable price
Very clean design. Good cutting edge and the serrated edge is very good. No doubt there are better knives out there, but at this price point I don’t think any compare. If it’s just a EDC for walks, bit of camping etc it’s spot on.

Great little knife
I love this knife and use it daily up at my field, it holds the sharpness well, it comes out of the packaging very sharp with no sharpening needed. It looks great, the brushed steel is nice and the locking mechanism works well. This is my second Gerber knife like this, I lost my first one. My first one didn't have the serrated bit towards the back of the blade, I really like this feature, makes cutting rope much easier.

Superb little knife, one handed opening
Great little knife. You can clip it on your pocket, remove it with one hand, open it to locked, use it, close it and put it back all with one hand. Very useful if you're holding something in the other hand. Good quality sharp blade, the saw section is a bonus.
