Amazing!!! I have it in my backyard paired with some TIC in ground landscape speakers. Absolutely beating, even at low levels you can still hear it well. Set up is pretty straightforward, red to red and black to black. It helped that it rained before I installed it, have to dig a nice size trench. I probably could have went down a little more. Discrete for the most part.

Just completed our redwood deck and outdoor movie setup. This underground sub was recommended to us and is well worth the money. Although not super high-end, it definitely helps to bring the fullness to complete our 2.1 channel system. It has just enough but so much more for parties and BBQ’s. I would recommend this sub if you are looking to have a minimal approach for an outdoor sub. *Bonus, we have already had some serious downpours of rain and this unit has not been affected at all.

It sounded OK when I first got it worked for 30 minutes and then stopped then I had to dig it all up again. Couldn’t hear anything wrong. Just stopped working.

This thing sounds great! Based on the specs and the box that the speaker is mounted in, I knew it would be a good option. It surpassed my expectations! I have 4 AW6500 Definitive Technology speakers, which are some of the best you can get; they produce excellent bass, but this subwoofer really helps with the really deep notes. I looked everywhere for reviews before I made this purchase, and couldn’t find anything. I’m glad I went with my gut on this one. I couldn’t be happier with the product quality and cost. The value is great for what you get.

This ended up being larger than I'd expected. Not a problem, just a larger (and more tiring) hole to dig. To drive this, I used a: Nobsound NS-03G Subwoofer Amplifier 100W Mini Sub Power Amp (Black) which cost about $25 from Amazon (needed to provide my own power supply - no biggie). This is connected to the Subwoofer output of a Sonos Connect Amp. Adding this made my garden sound much richer. So far so good. I am concerned about the other reviewer's mention of not being entirely waterproof. We'll see.

Only downside is I wish they included some silicon sealed wire nuts for hooking it up to a longer wire.

The Sub is paired with a cheap mono amp and does a great job. I'm really impressed with the performance. It does gives my outdoor setup a full / deep sound.
