Bye bye Joola! R.1.16 is the one…
Alright, long story short before the Ronbus- after trying a bunch of different paddles the best all around paddle for my play style was a ben johns hyperion cfs. The Ronbus is the exact same shape so I ordered one as a back up paddle. After playing one game with it I realized the similarities end there and I finally found my favorite paddle. To start, this is definitely a control paddle. It has a softer feel than the joola and has a much rougher texture that can generate incredible spin. Get yourself one of those paddle erasers, this thing will have plastic residue from balls on the paddle face every time you hit it. Insane…Serves- I immediately realized the spin potential of the paddle and started utilizing some old tennis skills to try out some topspin serves that I couldn’t quite figure out with the joola. WOW- instantly changed my entire serving style and started forcing errors with heavy topspin.Control- 3rd shot drop and dink machine…fantastic predictable touchBattles at the net- this paddle is lighter than my previous joola and is the perfect weight and balance to be quick at the net.Power- This may be the one area this paddle lacks compared to my joola. It lacks a bit of the put away power I got used to with the heavier hyperion cfs but its only noticeable on overheads. For everything else this paddle excels and enables me to drive much lower balls and keep them on the court which I couldn’t do before. You can really feel confident hitting the ball at your opponents feet and forcing pop ups and errors. Lead tape might fix the overhead issue but I’ve decided to leave the paddle the way it is at the moment because it plays so well.Construction- quality. The Grip on the handle is a pretty vanilla generic feeling grip which leaves a lot to be desired, I’d highly recommend replacing it with a new grip you like which would cost you a max of 12$. It steps up the feel of the paddle even more.Overall The price point of this paddle is unmatched, period. The warranty is excellent and the owner of the company responds quickly to questions via email.Great job Ronbus!

Stop Looking for the perfect paddle. It's right here!
Ok, so I went through three other paddles before I landed on the R1 and I love it. This is the perfect mix of control, spin, finesse and power. I'm a 3.25 - 3.50 trying to improve and this paddle is wonderful. Every game I have a few magical shots at the net with this paddle that "wow" the players... and it comes so easy. The spin is the absolute best and allows me an ace or two every match. Give it a try... trust the Ronbus like I did!

Ronbus R1.16 is a GREAT Paddle
Played with the R1.16 tonight. For reference I'm a 4.5 player and currently play with a Selkirk Vanguard 2.0 and had a CRBN 1X for a month that delaminated on me. I'd say the R1.16 definitely has less power than the 1X but more than the Vanguard. This paddle is control oriented. Spin felt great. Paddle felt really well balanced. With the 1X I thought my hands were a touch slower at the net. Not the case with the R1.16 though. Others have mentioned the grip feels chunky, but the grip feels like it's about the same thickness as my Vanguard. I'm switching to this paddle for my next tournament in two weeks. I think it's an amazing deal for $100.

Very good paddle
If your a fan of joola this paddle is very comparable for half the price. First two weeks out of the box this paddle was amazing. After about two weeks it broke down a bit. Still a great paddle but started to wobble a little when I didn’t catch the sweat spot. Definitely a paddle I’d consider buying again but I’ll probably keep searching for that perfect paddle for me if there is such a thing.

Excellent Value
This paddle is top-notch. Pretty head light and very maneuverable. Excellent build quality; obviously the TORAY is great (especially at this price point), but the handle was what really impressed me. It's pretty thick, the bevels are pronounced, and there's no exposed polymer. I generally have to use at least one overgrip, but was able to comfortably play this paddle straight out of the box.The paddle is EXTREMELY soft, making thirds, resets and dinks effortless. The sweet spot is huge (expected given the paddles shape and dimensions). It plays almost identically to the Vanguard 2.0 Epic and S2, but due to the raw carbon fiber face has the ability to produce a lot of spin.

Good Control (R2.16)
The round shape of the paddle contributes to a predictable sweet spot. Those who can generate their own power will appreciate the control this paddle offers.

Excellent paddle and great value.
Excellent control paddle with great spin and sufficient power for an advanced player. For a high quality raw carbon paddle it’s inexpensive.

Really great high-end paddle with a terrible grip.
This is an absolutely great paddle, except they skimped on the handle. I play a Selkirk Invicta PowerAir in competition 4.0+, and I've been waiting on a Legacy Pro. This Ronbus got phenomenal spin ratings and I gave it a shot. I leaded it up to 8.6oz head heavy and it felt like a soft power paddle, like a Johns CFS.The handle is sort of a fake octagon, hollow, boxy with small bevels. It's fun to play and I'll probably keep it, but I can't imagine wanting a competition paddle with an inferior grip, and this one is. Too bad. If you can play your best with a squishy, square grip, this may be the best spin paddle in the world at this time.

Father in law loved mine, wanted one for himself!
After trying many different paddles over the last year, it was my Ronbus that he kept coming back to. Finally decided that's what he wanted, so went and got him one!

Great bat
This is a great Pickleball bat for someone looking to take their game to a higher level. Fantastic feel of the ball on the paddle and the ability to generate spin when required is insane. Would highly recommend this bat.

Outstanding paddle
I thought I'd try out this paddle after watching some positive YouTube videos. I didn't want to pay the A$300+ for the high end paddles but wanted something that generated more spin than my current intermediate level paddle. This paddle surpassed my expectations. 50% more spin and surprisingly more touch and feel (for dinks).Highly recommended.

Slight defect on paddle surface but awesome paddle
A control paddle with lots of touch and spin. Improved my game vastly. Very slight defect on carbon fibre weave but no impact on play so keeping it. Happy with it overall.
