SylglasAT50 Aluminium Tape Roll 4m x 50mm

I've been using this stuff on and off for decades to mend leaks first in greenhouse roofs, and latterly the roof of a garden shed, where it happily seals troublesome joins in conventional coverings. It isn't, and doesn't claim to be, a permanent solution, since it does dry out and become vulnerable to strong winds in time. Following the handling guidelines, it is very easy to fit. Use it if possible on a sunny day, when the sun will warm up the roll and make it more pliable.

This tape is absolutely brilliant for preventing water leaks in a greenhouse roof. Would highly recommend-now have a lovely dry greenhouse when it rains! The silver colour matches the aluminium frame perfectly and is therefore hardly noticeable. Just wish I had discovered this tape before. It is available in several widths, although slighty worried I hadn't ordered the roll quite wide enough, because of the adhesion and flexibility it fitted the gap perfectly. It's seems completely impervious to ice and water so it looks like it won't need replacing for a long time.

The product is very useful for outdoor repairs - I've used it to fix leaks or seal gaps and joints in greenhouses and it has lasted 10 years + with no evident degradation. Sticks to plastic, glass - only thing it doesn't like is relatively fresh silicone sealer.
