The Best Brace for Sprained Ankle!
I accidentally sprained my ankle ina tennis competition last month. It felt pain and sore, and I even could not walk for 1 week. The PT suggested me to have a brace to help recovery and prevent to roll my ankle again. After reviewed almost all the brace on Amazon, I ordered this FREETOO brace. I’ve tried their products which worked perfectly. So I think maybe this brace also deserves a try. It turnedout that I’ve made a smart choice!Size/fit: I wore women 6.5 and went for size small. It fits my foot and ankle perfectly. I can adjust the pressure to the most suitable compression with the laces and the straps. It’s so slim to fit into my shoe. No need to size up.Stability: This brace is different with others as it was engineered with metal stabilizer on both sides of the ankle to offer more support. They can not only support my weak ankle, but also keep it in right place which does a great job on reducing pains and accelerating recovery. Once I laced up the brace, I felt that my foot and ankle was fully wrapped in a firm but comfortable way. The metal stabilizer does protect from moving my foot left /right, that’s exactly what I need for sprained ankle. The “8 surrounded straps” prevents over flexing your foot up/down. So the ankle will always be kept in the correct place.Mobility: There will be a certain range of mobility to move my ankle, but not too much. Which makes sure that I can still walk around,or even do some exerciseswithout worrying about hurting myankle again. I am crazy on sports and activities. My PT agreed me toplay tennis with the brace on when my ankle got better. It did give me more confidence to run orjump without any other problem.Quality & comfort: It needs more time to test the durability. While I can tell that this brace have great quality from the stitching and the material. And it’s comfortable on my foot. All in all, I am really satisfied with this brace. It did reduce ankle pains and help recovery.Highly recommend for those who has the same symptoms or similar give this a try.

Great fit
The brace was very easy to put on and is very comfortable. It doesn’t provide quite the amount of ankle immobilization as I would like but it doesn’t provide quite provide some so I’m happy.

Great for high ankle sprains
I got a high ankle sprain stepping in a hole in my town sidewalk and it really has been three months and I’ve used brace over ace bandages, woll socks in my hiking boots & my sneakers. It’s very comfortable, adjustable and feels like it gives me super good support and I RECOMMEND & my physical therapist thinks it’s a good Brace and so did my Orthopedist. I am going to the surgeon because I really hurt myself, but this should keep me more comfortable until i find out what’s next. The lace is good doesn’t hurt to slip on and the cross straps are easy to use and I haven’t had any problems with the Velcro & my lace. Recommend especially for the price and i have small ankles and this has been a huge bonus in my healing from my injury.

Good support, hard to put on
When I can put this brace on, it is one of the best I've tried (and I've tried a lot). And, I can't believe I'm about to complain about shoelaces .... but here it goes. I have to loosen the laces across all the eyelets to get the brace on - no problem. But then, the laces twist causing painful knots when it's laced up. I did iron the laces, that helped a bit - but should we really need to iron our shoelaces? And the laces aren't long enough. When I loosen them, they fall out of the last hole or two on each side, meaning that I'm trying to lace them back up while I'm putting the brace on. With my painful ankle (and knee) joints, this becomes a very painful effort. Usually, I give up. Sometimes I'll ask someone else to put it on me. That works, but it's inconvenient. I'm going to try buying different shoelaces (longer and, maybe, stretchy) to see if that helps. Seems like a fixable problem that the manufacturer should resolve.

Sizing way off
The sizing on these are way off. Based on the Large measurements in their chart, Large size is for women's U.S. shoe size 10.5 - 12 with ankle circumference of 13.5 - 14.5. My shoes size is Women's 10.5 and my ankle measured their way is 13. However, the Large was actually so small that the stabilizer rods would not line up where they were supposed to be and the laces would not meet to lace up having space gaps on both sides of the tongue. I would say the Large would fit a 10 year old child.

Amazing ankle support
I like that this isn't bulky and can be worn under athletic shoes without loosening the shoe too much. The supports around the ankle feel rigid and help keep the ankle stabilized. The shoelaces aren't my favorite design, but they are useful for tightening the ankle strap around the sides. The velcro loop fasteners add a nice touch to help reinforce stability and support.I sprained my ankle playing soccer but thanks to this product I was able to recover in a shorter amount of time. I highly recommend it

No brainer
Fits how it's needed. 2nd bought thus far. Only critique is the wraps stitching on the bottom needs to be a stronger thread in cross stitch. Great product. Thank you for what you bring to Mother Earth..

Decent support-Mostly comfortable
I have very weak ankles due to severe ligament injuries from past sports activities. I have a tendency to "twist" or "turn" my ankles often. I bought these thinking they would provide better support than the slip-on ace supports. The 'metal supports' that these have are toward the rear of the foot, so not super helpful for my area of concern. They take a while to properly adjust since you are only using the laces to make the adjustments, but once you get them properly adjusted for the support you need, they do a decent job. I wear a size 9 or 10 womans shoe and I got a medium which fits fine. . I have only worn them with my thick, hiking boots and they don't bother me at all. Overall, decent support without being too bulky. Much better than the slip-on supports, but certainly not as good as the ones with bracing inside.
