Easy to fit, and good price [October 14th 2018 update]
My front driver's side main light died on me the other night so I purchased OSRAM ULTRA LIFE H7, halogen headlamp, 64210ULT-HCB duobox (2 units) and also OSRAM ULTRA LIFE H1, halogen headlamp, 64150ULT-HCB duobox (2 units) to replace the dipped and main lights on both sides on a Ford Focus Style 08 plate.Having never ever changed a headlamp bulb in my many years of driving (I am a male, over 50) I was a bit apprehensive. Needn't have worried though, it was simple. I watched a YouTube video on how to remove the light assembly units for a Ford and how to replace the bulbs and it was even easier than it appeared. The bulb fitting info was wrong but I discovered the correct way of doing it from an auto repair site so no problems (see below).I started the bulb replacements at 12:25, ten minutes after receiving the parcel from Amazon. I removed both left and right light assemblies, replaced both bulbs in each unit after that, and refitted the units and the time was 12:40 exactly. You need a torch, a screwdriver to remove the fixing screws, and a long screwdriver or something similar to push down on to the two retaining clips holding each unit in place (use the torch to see where they are). Once the screw is out and the clips are released on each unit, you simply pull out the light units, upend them, remove the two rubber caps that cover the apertures containing the light connectors, and remove the connectors from the bulbs by squeezing the black clip in on pulling up gently. Remove the bulbs, and without touching the new ones (mustn't touch the glass or the oil on your fingers will cause them to die prematurely) seat them back into the light assembly unit BEFORE reattaching the connectors to the bulb. DON'T attach bulb to connector and then refit to light assembly. The beams will be misaligned. Then once all bulbs are fitted, replace rubber caps, slot units back in place and align till they click. Screw in place and voilà, all done.I cannot really give anything less that 5 stars as I only just fitted the bulbs today and they work so far, so I'll report back in a year and update if they are unworthy of the high rating I have given them. They are brighter than the ones I replaced, and a whiter light, and now I am thinking about replacing the side lights as they look a little dull in comparison.October 14th 2018 updateAs promised an update a year (almost) later. All bulbs still working. I replaced all bulbs with Osram ones at the same time. They are all good as well. Hopefully I'll get a few more years out of them.October 22nd 2019 updateJust an update to say that the bulbs are still working fine and haven't blown. So reliable.December 2nd 2020 updateAnother update. Bulbs are still working and none of them have blown. After all these years of early morning and late evening driving on unlit back roads (so flipping from dipped to full over and over) they are still holding out...touch wood. Definitely worth the money. I shalln't do another update. I think they've well and truly proved themselves to be reliable.

The best bulbs you can get
Them come in a very strong packet/box. The bulbs them selves are well made and with a 4 year guarantee are well worth the money.Have bought cheap bulbs in the past that only just last through the winter months. These bulbs give out a much better quality of light.

nearly one year of running these......
OVERALL:Good bulb - Average brightness. Good reliability. Good value for moneyi bought and installed these bulbs last year in November 2019, from memory after installation i was not disappointed with the brightness or whiteness of the bulb, i have been running them for 9 months now and they are still working, although the brightness has significantly decreased over time. only recently i have noticed i need a new set when driving at night. still not disappointed as most bulbs around this price range don't last this long from experience

very long lasting bulbs
I bought 2 packs of these bulbs (OSRAM Ultralife 2.0 H1 Halogen-Headlamp Bulb) in 2018 December 4th for my honda accord. Other cheap bulbs were lasting up to 2 weeks, that why decided to buy those OSRAM bulbs, still cheap compare to some other fancy stuff. Now the best recommendation for them: I am writing this review in 2025 January 2th, because just yesterday first of those bulbs burned out. It means it worked for 6 full years. For me is the best recommendation, again, I tried other very cheap bulbs in my honda, and none lasted more than 2 weeks which was very annoying. Five stars for OSRAM Ultralife 2.0 H1 Halogen-Headlamp Bulbs.!!

Quality product at a good price
My previous bulbs lasted seven years but failed within minutes of each other. I dislike replacing bulbs as it always turns out to be more of a fiddle than it should be. This time I got both done in 45 minutes but it's a task I would like to avoid. So I did not want to buy the ultrabright type of bulb as even the manufacturers admit a limited lifespan. When these cropped up at under £5 a piece, from a reputed manufacturer I ordered them and they arrived in 3 days. They are bigger than the ones they replaced but I checked and both old and new were H4. The light is bright enough only a bit yellow. I will revisit this review if/when they fail

LONG LIFE AND BRIGHT DEFINED BEAM
Long life bulbs v Super bright? It is true that you can buy these bulbs in different guises, many people opt for the super bright versions that do sometimes have a stronger whiter or bluer clarity. Unfortunately the brighter bulbs tend to follow the old saying 'the flame that burns twice as bright burns for half as long'. Not to mention their susceptibility to being knocked out by a jarring pothole. They are still only 55W bulbs in any case so don't actually give out 'more' light. To change my bulbs I have to remove both headlights, while this generally takes only around 15/20 minutes to change both bulbs it risks scratching the paintwork on the bumper, accidental dropping of the headlight and realising you have lost the special star drive bit for the screw head to put them back in again. So a bulb that will not need changing for a long time and that will survive the odd pot hole whilst still giving out 55W on full beam is very appealing. It supplements my HID lights and the beam is bright and defined. If you want to spend three to four times more on a fancy bulb that has the same light output but a fraction of the lifespanthen so be it.However you'd not be going wrong buying these.
