This is my second order of this shave cream. Due to it's price, I use it sparingly, perhaps once per week or so. That is really hard to do because I enjoy it so much. It out-performs virtually every other shave cream I have tried and the scent is fantastic. I have no idea how to describe it except to say that it reminds me of their sandalwood shave cream but with something else included that works so well with the sandalwood. I take that back, I guess I CAN describe it!This cream seems to like a tiny bit more water than the sandalwood jar cream but it is still easy to generate a rich thick lather with a small amount. It provides a nice slick lubricant between the razor and your face.I have been and will continue to be a loyal customer of TOBS. I have yet to find an inferior product from them.

I stumble across Mr. Taylor of Old Bond Street when I decided to switch to the double bladed safety razor. I originally used the sandalwood, which I liked a lot However, I gave Mr. Taylor's a try, and I was sold. This is my new shaving lotion of preference. I also use the bar soap. For a very small price, these products can really improve your day. (I suffered shaving rashes for 30 years. After a switched to the double edged razor and the shaving soap, I no longer worry about ingrown hair bumps on my neck. I also smell nice - at least after I shave. I have the larger jar for home use. This container goes in my 3-1-1 bag.

I've used several Taylor shaving creams, and all are fantastic. Great lather, and they don't dry your skin out. They all feel like quality products, without a lot of weird chemicals.The only reason I can't give five stars is the very small amount you're getting for the price in this format.Unless you shave twice a year, I recommend getting the tubs of Taylor shaving soap, as they are a much better value and will last you a long time. As far as I can tell, the ingredients list is fundamentally the same, with the only difference the consistency. There is much more water in this formulation, to keep it flowable, so not only are you paying more for a smaller amount, you're getting less per unit amount.

I wanted to like this, TOBS products are generally fantastic. However, this cream was hard to lather up but the real issue was that it broken down fairly quickly. It just doesn't last 3 passes. I face lathered and bowl lathered. Also, the fragrance was very light, fyi.. I'll stick with their hard soaps.

Got thru maybe half of this tube of shaving cream and the threaded flange inside the tube breaks off before I can use all the shaving cream in the tube. This is the second tube this has happened . Thought the first was a fluke, apparently this is a manufactured defect.. Buyers beware

love it. great for travel. SMELLS AWESOME (i've purchased 2-3 others now, the other James St of the same brand) and by far this one smells fantastic - the kind of nostalgic smell you'd be looking for that brought you to begin explioring the idea of wet shaving again.I am back to buy the tub of it now (for the better value). I bought this to "ty out" first and then narrow it down before i bought the big tubs... This is a safe volume "go to" any day. Enjoy.

I've used T.O.B. before ( I alternate between T.O.B. and Thumper as travel go to's), and have always been more than satisfied. This time is no exception. T.O.B. remains one of the finer shaving creams on the market today. It lathers nicely, has a nice scent, tough not overpowering, and most importantly , it makes for an over all excellent shaving experience.

I use several TOBS products, This has become my favorite scent, though the Sandlewood is awesome too! Give this a try, its really nice!! I think they make a top of the line product period! Use very regularly! Absolutely worth giving a try if you have not had this scent or their products yet!!

Supercalafragalistic Expiealiedocious! - Or just brilliant will do. Smells lovely, gives a close shave with a lovely fragrance. This is their top selling scent as their sandalwood is so so so much better than any of their competitors. If you warm your face with hot water first, then rub in some shower gel as a pre-shave for a good minute first, then when you apply this cream either by hand or with a shaving brush, you'll enjoy a brilliant shave along with a lovely sensory delight. You won't get cuts, razor nicks or burns, but keep your blade hot under running water between short passes & that's the key to pefect shaving. Enjoy.

Muy buena crema para rasurar me gusta que con poco te cubre la parte donde vas a rasurar y también me gusta la sensación que deja en el rostro. Lo recomiendo

Ottima crema da barba, della conosciuta ed apprezzata ditta Taylor: confezione da aereoporto, bella e raffinata la scatola e robusto il tubo che garantisce sicurezza nel trasporto in borsa e per eventuali cadute accidentali. La crema si monta con facilità a pennello, si può fare anche con le mani anche se il risultato non èovviamente identico. Profumo discreto, che viene coperto dal dopobarba e non lo contrasta. Il prezzo è minore di altri prodotti simili inglesi, ma ne regge autorevolmente il confronto in termini di qualità del prodotto e del packaging. Spedizione Amazon puntuale, leggermente ammaccato il pacco che ha leggermente schiacciato la confezione di cartone del prodotto.

Not bad, but it takes a lot to make a good lather. To costly in a long run, I mix it with a soap to make it last longer
