Installed these in about 1 hour, excellent product overall.I’ve read a few complaints about the quality of the hardware supplied with the product and I must say, yes, it looks flimsy, but it does the job as expected. I’m pretty sure more than 1 engineer designed this product and they agreed that this hardware is enough, I’ve seen photos of people bending the bolts by over tighten them, there’s no need for that, this thing will also be held in place by the weight of the truck between the frame and the leaf spring, so why would you need to over tight it? I’ve replaced airbags in mercedes and BMW cars that are barely held in place by 1 single bolt!!That said, this product does its job perfectly and I wouldn’t tow without it. We have a 2008 Ram 2500 and we tow a 16k LB gooseneck trailer, without this product, the truck would sag dangerously in the rear, wearing the tires much faster and most importantly, the brakes would also fail to work properly since the weight is not distributed as it was designed. This is a safety device that needs to be in your truck if you are planning on towing anything over 8000lb.Installation is a breeze with a 14mm socket, a ratchet and about an hour or two of your time.

I purchased the Air Lift LoadLifter, because I wanted the ability to safely tow my large fifth wheel with my Ram 2500 4x4 Turbo Diesel. These bags delivered in spades! I read the reviews and was concerned about the quality of the brackets and air inlets on top of the bags. I need not have worried, apparently Airlift also knows how to read and have addressed those issues. Easy installation, quality product.I just completed a 5,000 mile road trip from Texas to Washington via I-10 and I-5 came down the 101 and couldn't be happier about the control or the stance my vehicle had. I ran 75 pounds over every sort of payment you could imagine, my tuck and trailer were taking a pounding in parts of I-5 and I think the Airbags helped keep everything under control.I highly recommend getting the Airlift compressor to keep everything inflated properly and leveled. It worked seamlessly with the bags, bleeding and added air as needed and as the load shifted.Running with no load, I keep it at 15lbs it absorbs the impacts from the suspension better than stock.

Bought and put on my 12 Ram 2500, super easy to install, currently running it at 40lbs not hauling anything and it's already makes a difference to the ride with my flatbed. Hauled a 4800lb bumper flatbed of round bales and it is way better than I expected, haven't hooked it to my 12k horse trailer yet but I am sure I will be pleased with it as well.My ONLY complaint, is the allen head bolts they send in to mount the body plates for the frame where the bump stops were previously installed. My truck used M10-1.50x25, the bolts that came with the kit were M10-1.25x50. Thank goodness they were too long as I didn't think to check the threads before attempting the install, allen head sheared out as well trying to get it out (didn't use any air tools or wrenches putting them in either, just did it by hand). Ended up going to a local hardware store and getting replacements as the stock flange bolt heads were to large to reuse. $7 replacement for those and it was on.Super happy with this purchase, I would certainly recommend this or the 7500XL version of these. Looking forward to adding the remote compressor next.

I purchased to airlift 5000 for my 2012 Dodge Ram 3500. I wanted to get some stability while pulling my RV. Installation was straight forward. I will say that the brass air fitting on the top is press fitted. It is critical that you follow the instructions on installing the quick release fitting and don't over tighten and don't add any Teflon tape, at least initially. I did follow directions and one air bag had developed a slow leak that turned out to be the brass press fitting. I called airlift about 3 weeks after purchase and getting a replacement was very easy and hassle free. Great customer service! With the RV loaded I put about 70psi. This gives me added stability from sway and better braking control. It does not increase the towing capacity, it only improves the towing ride.

I purchased this kit to raise the bed a little on my 2015 3500 Ram 4X4 (longbed) because the previous owner had installed a 2" front end leveling kit and any load in the bed caused the truck to be nose-high. These help. 40 lbs of air raised the bed about 1 to 1-1/2 inch. I just finished the install so I haven't had time to see how it goes over time. But the install instructions were great and they went on with no issues just as described.The only problem I encountered was that one bag leaked air around one of the threaded brass mounting inserts in the top of the bag. I called AirLift and they sent me 2 new bags (one is a spare) at no charge. They were even sent 2-day delivery! This is absolutely excellent customer support. Disappointed it leaked, but it was resolved quickly.I've hooked these up to my on-board air compressor with switches in the dash for electric valves to add or dump air as needed. I just hope all the connections don't leak air!

With my '07 Dodge 2500 I needed something to settle out the bounce from my 12K fifth wheel. These "air springs" did the trick. The past reviews I had read said add air if getting bounce. I had 50psi still had bounce, went to 60, 70, 80 and still had bounce. Added air up to 90psi and wow the bounce was gone and the ride while loaded settled right out!!! I was amazed at how well these air bags improved the ride. I originally did not add a compressor but found that I had a difficult time getting the pressure equal between the two sides. Once I added the Heavy Duty dual zone compressor everything worked great!! I had a few leaks when i got it all hooked up but they were easy to find and we due to me not cutting the line square. After i cleaned the end up square the leak was gone!! Great Product and works wonderful!!!
