I bought this bc my spine is fused via titanium rods & screws. Which means that I can't bend like everyone else. Plus, I have a large degree of extra weight around my belly & lower belly. Which also impedes in my ability to reach my feet.Anyway, ... the handle appears to be 1 1/4 inch wide, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch thick & 4 inches long (not counting the hole where the rope for hanging goes through). It was easy to grip (I'm a female with an avg size hand).The 'stem' is thick & bendable. Quite a bit of strength is needed to bend it in the position that you'd like. So if you have weak or painful hands, you will need some help in putting it in the proper angle for your needs. BTW, it comes bent in half when you get it. I had to straighten mine out & bend it closer to the pad.The pads are firm & non-absorbent. Other reviewers seem to be unhappy about that. I found it beneficial. I need assistance in applying lotion type products & ointment type of medications on my feet. I cannot reach most of my feet. If the applicator pad was absorbent like a sponge, most of the products wouldn't get on my skin, bc they would be soaked up by the pad. This firm pad allowed me to squirt the medicine by the end of the pad & I could spread it around my heels & the rest of the bottom of my feet. It worked out well. I could even apply the lotion to the pad, hold the bottom of the pad down on the floor & rub the bottom of my foot around on top of the pad. That's 2 ways that it can be used.So far I am happy with this bendable lotion applicator!!! It really helps me & my T-Rex arms 🦖, big belly & non bendable back.I would recommend this item if you have difficulty in reaching your feet. I haven't tried it on my back or anywhere else yet. But, I'm confident that it would work just as well for your back.I think that it's worth taking the risk & getting. You won't know for yourself unless you try it. Good luck!!

I bought this to use to put lotion on my back. It works great. Nothing fancy, but no need to be fancy lol. It does the job. It’s sturdy but bendable to adjust to whatever your need is. Since I generally use this for my back, I just keep it bent in that position. I wipe it off each time I use it and store in a drawer in the bent position. The head doesn’t absorb any of the lotion (it’s basically a strong chunk of styrofoam). It comes with an extra head, but my initial head is still holding up great. In the summer, I use one side of the head for lotion and the other side for sunscreen. I’d definitely recommend for those hard to read places.

I bought this to facilitate putting lotion on my back.It’s sturdy and it gets the job done. It’s fairly easy to grip and it is sturdy. The substantial pads are washable

This is one of the best products I have bought from Amazon or anywhere else. I have osteoarthritis in my shoulders and need to apply a analgesic cream several times a day. That has been almost impossible since I have difficulty lifting or bending my arms. Not any more. This is the perfect applicator for me. It is not hard to bend to the proper alignment. Apply the cream and apply. Simple. I can't speak to how long it will last but I will certainly replace it when it fails. I have purchased another applicator but the handle was too long and unwieldy.

I don't think it was worth the 16.95 I paid for this product, but when I sent it back for exchange because it was broken, they were very good about sending me an exchange in great shape and quickly. As I can't reach the bottom of my feet with lotion, it does a fairly good job because I wouldn't be able to reach them without it. I was thinking the pads themselves would be smaller but all in all it gets the lotion were it needs to be and for that I am grateful.

Was nice thing like I expected, pads were very hard and did not evenly spread lotion. Handle was very hard and difficult to adjust. So bad I returned it the same day. I would never use again.

I’ve tried the other in between toe cleaners and was not pleased. But this brush really cleans in between your toes perfectly. Pole length is perfect. Easily rinses clean. Love that it bends so I can cream the bottom of my feet after using the exfoliating attachment. I’m 77 with two bad hips and I have no problem in bending the rod to accommodate all the attachments.

For those who need help applying lotion to their legs and feet this item works great! I have purchased one in the past but the foam ended up gross from the dried lotion. Even after rinsing and cleaning it I couldn’t not seem to get it all off. This one I’ve been using for 4 months and it has yet to turn brown and gross. It comes with extra foams which is great but I haven’t had to change it. The arm is also bendable to help apply lotion or creams to your back. It’s actually what sold me so I can fold it to fit into my small carryon luggage. If you have arthritis like I do this is a must item to have!
