Truly a must have.
Working on replacing an exhaust manifold and one of the studs snapped, space was was too tight to get a drill in and the bolt was too short for any nut to screw onto. Tried a bolt remover that looked like a drill chuck but it just couldn't bite onto it. This is the only thing that worked and it was flawless.I love that the set comes with sizes down to the tenth of a mm! But I wish the box held these sockets a little better but that just a gripe. This is an absolute must have if you're working on your car, I'm more than happy to recommend this as it could've saved me a good hour in the first place.

Victory
I spent days trying to get an extractor bolt out. It was so smooth and hardened nothing could grip it. So small no sockets could latch on. Such a tight space that no larger tools could fit. Near a fuel line meaning heat wasn't an option. All of it above my head without a way to soak. A seemingly impossible scenario. Yet one of these sockets bit down and saved the day. Amazingly there isn't even damage to the socket used; could not possibly be better.

Check the 1/4 or 3/8" ends for debrit..
Updated review:I have now had a chance to try out a few of the bits so far.. After trying them out, I found that they did a good job of gripping, and did not strip out the extractor at all.. So with that being said, I am upgrading my review to a 4 star rating from 3 stars.. I included a photo of 3 of the 4 bits that have been used.. You can see the dirt on the 3 in the picture, and as you can see, there is almost no wear on the edges, even after multiple uses.. I also, like other people, have had problems with the bits falling out of place so I am going to get a piece of foam to put on top of them to help keep them in place.. Just one option that is easy and cheap to do to keep them from falling out of place..Original Review:I have not used these enough to comment about durability yet.. I will update this when I do.. But I wanted to point out a few things now so you can be aware of them..Upon checking the sockets, I found that the QC was poor when manufacturing these.. If you look in the one picture, you can see a lot of little pieces of metal on a piece of material.. These all came off of these extractors.. Actually, that was only part of what came off of them.. They did nothing from the factory to clean these up before they sent them out.. If you look at the 2 pictures with the extractors in them, you can see the little pieces of metal still attached to all 3 of the sockets.. These were not the only ones, but I thought that 3 was enough of an example.. I had to take a small screwdriver and chip all these little pieces off from the sockets..Why this is a bad thing.. Well, what if you were working by a motor of some kind. Do you really want these to fall off into a motor and possibly damage it? What if these fell off and on to the floor in a house.. Someone could get cut on them.. and if you have a baby crawling around.. I think you get the idea...When I got mine, at least half of the pieces were not in place any more.. I put them all back in place, and then did a small hit of the case, while closed, to see if they would fall out again.. Some of them did.. I could only imagine how many would have fallen out if it was a hard drop, to say a wood floor or concrete.. So if you want the bits to stay in place, I would put a piece of foam, or bubble wrap, or something on top of the sockets to help keep them in place better. Not much more to say until I use them.. But I have nothing to really test them out on at this moment.. So I would rather be truthful about it then say anything otherwise.. As I said, when I do try them out, and get some good testing on them, I will update the review as needed..

Worked in a tight place
This kit includes many sockets that are 1/4 in drive, which makes the body of the socket much thinner. I had a tight space in the back of my engine near the firewall and all of the other extractor sets could not spin as they were too wide. With the small size and the 1/4 in drive I had enough space to get the bolt out. Also used another one with my 1/2in dewalt impact driver, and it worked great. Not too bad signs of wear after impact hits, would recommend.
