Review: This is great - I've had glasses my entire life. I have never worn contacts and don't want laser vision correction, although I think about it often. I have several pairs that I currently use and a lot of old ones that I keep for backup purposes. In reality because I have so many, its more nostalgia than back up. In any event, they have sat around on nightstands and dressers for years. Each week I would dust them and move them around to dust the surface under them. I never really gave it much thought, but now, I realize how annoying that was. This box keeps them in one place, holds 12 pairs, looks nice, and always keeps them dust free. Its also a great deal for the money. There were so many I looked at that held a few pairs or were just too fancy and pricey for what is necssary. This shouldn't be a show piece in your house, it should be functional, and this is very functional with the added benefit of being a value for the price and isn't an eye sore (at all). I recommend this to my glasses people.

A: That other answer, from Louise, is ridiculous and wrong. PU leather is not real, it is unequivocally fake. Made from Polyurethane entirely pu leather is not real leather with a poly back, it is 100% artificial. Over time the polyurethane will become brittle and crack, falling off the backing material.

If I could give this more stars I would have; it's everything I was looking for and more. I was a little reluctant because some of the reviews said it had a weird smell or it wasn't as sturdy as they thought it would be; but the odd "new" smell only lasted about 2 minutes; and the material and the craftsmanship is much more than I expected at this cost. I love that it fits even my oversized glasses and that the bottom drawer pulls out completely so each compartment is fully accessible. If you own even just a few pairs of sunglasses and are tired of multiple cases that only hold one pair, buy this case!! You will not be disappointed! I included a photo next to a standard size tissue box for size comparison.
