So, after setting up a bigger TV in the living room, I wanted something in the bedroom...
My main TV watching area is in the living room, but I knew I wanted a TV in the bedroom as well. I have an antique dresser that I wanted to put the screen so I measured it and realized that I could fit a 50" panel on the dresser. This Toshiba 50" C350 looked like it would be perfect. And for my purposes it is. I can't speak to the Alexa/FireTV capabilities and I've never actually heard the speakers because I already knew I was going to pair it with a stereo paired Apple HomePod Minis. The set up mirrors that of my larger set in the living room (except that's a Samsung 75" 4K QLED TV with a stereo pair of full size Dolby Atmos capable HomePod 2s). All streaming is done through a new AppleTV 4K box that's paired to the HomePod Minis. I'm not using local cable for anything but 1.2 Gbps internet so 4K streaming works perfectly. Set up was easy and I'm blown away with how light this TV is (especially in comparison to the Samsung in the living room). The picture is great for an LED panel and the TV has an almost instant on, I've never seen any sync issues with sound/picture.The only thing that I wish about this TV (and actually ANY current TV) is that I really wish I was able to get a high quality panel that wasn't a "Smart TV". All I want from the panel are picture settings. I will always be sourcing from an external box and I'd rather not have ANY of the devices in my home listening to me.The price was definitely right for this one (I think I paid $239 US).All of that being said, I highly recommend this television, it's been perfect for my needs and I think that anyone else would be quite happy with it!

Responsive and snappy
This is my first Toshiba after a few sceptre TVs. The image, quality, sound and responsiveness overall is blowing my mind at this price point. I will update in a few months for longevity. Easy to set up, has voice commands with alexa, destroys my roku ultra lt set up I had with the last TV. At 43" the pixel density at 4k (It is upscaled Regza 4k not naitve, which is fine). Usually upscaled 4k is hard to distinguish from native 4k, for casual viewing and budget price point. But this.Update to this review 1/26/25This is the best tv I have ever owned, the sound is amazing, ut has a gaming mode and hdr for gaming in my case on an og ps5, I will update in 6 months for longevity, so awesome. It also has great viewing anngles from a couch on the side, probably has an ips display. Buy in confidence!! :)

Toshiba is still a good choice for the buck!
Even though Toshiba TV is no longer a Japanese company, I’m hoping that the quality will remain. Now owned by Hisense, which is also rated to be a very good value made me purchase this TV. Used primarily for my basement viewing, it’s not intended to be a daily viewer. Set up was very easy. With your Amazon account, the connection was straightforward. Streaming apps such as Netflix, Max, Paramount+,etc. connected seamlessly as well. Picture quality is also very good. Colors are bright with crystal clear visuals. Sound quality is o.k.. Speakers do sound a little on the tinny side, but I also purchased a Sony soundbar which improved it significantly. At 60 hz, the refresh rate is decent enough for general viewing. This TV also feels solid on the outside. The plastic backing feels solid. Not being a gamer, this TV serves an average viewer perfectly. For under $200 dollars, this was a satisfying purchase!

Very Nice HDTV
My older Sharp Aquos 55" TV stopped working so I was going to take it to the TV repair shop to see if it could be fixed because Sharp generally makes a real good quality TV and the TV was 7 years old. However, I was browsing thru some TVs on Amazon and I came upon this one which was on sale for $219.99. I figured I couldn't go wrong at that price so I decided to buy it and that was a good decision. The TV arrived the very next day and it was your typical Toshiba high quality TV. It was easy to setup, the picture was very clear, plenty of input ports (HDMI, RCA) and it wasn't as bulky as my older 55" Sharp HDTV. I took out an additional three year warranty for an extra $35 so everything cost me about $255 and the TV is covered for the next 3+ years. Toshiba makes a very good TV and I give this TV 5 stars given the fact that it only costs $219,99+tax and it is a Toshiba - so far, so good!!!
