mossus eh...
what I want to know is why god didn't do these things to the Romans ??? did he learn from his mistakes lol and instead thought !!! this time, im going to put my son on earth and he can guide them!! sadly a crucifixion later and a spear with several nails involved and the systematic hunting of all Christians later.. Jesus was sealed in a tomb behind a big stone wheel that conveniently rolls when pushed. i dunno when you cross-reference these things with each other it just proves that it's all waffle in its entirety.parting the sea ??? yea right. more like they didn't know where they were which was clearly stated meaning it was most likely an estuary and the tide was out when they crossed it to the other side of the beach!!! but because humanity is ridiculous and overly dramatic.. they added a bit of flair like all things when history was recorded.. take American recordings of the second world war and their independence war.. not once do they show the gory tragedy of innocents or their own soldiers !! just the glory and unbelievable stuff and then they make it even more glorious.still a good fictional film though. but how it was written in the bible is hilarious. totally unbelievable in every sense. you would think that if they wanted everyone to believe they would have made it believable and not astonishingly unrealistic. let's face it. religion was only going to keep the wool over people's eyes for so long before they became advanced enough to see the mechanics behind the miracles.

'A SPECTACULAR AND SPRAWLING INTERPRETATION OF THE WELL KNOWN BIBLICAL STORY' - (GOOD SPECIAL-EFFECTS}
'A SPECTACULAR AND SPRAWLING INTERPRETATION OF THE WELL KNOWN BIBLICAL STORY' - GOOD SPECIAL-EFFECTS,THIS IS A WELL KNOWN AND FREQUENTLY TOLD BIBLICAL STORY (my review has a basic outline of the plot, not enough to spoil)A Re-Telling of the Biblical Story of 'Moses' who as an Egyptian Prince shared the spoils of their cruel and dominant Kingdom.The Jews are slaves and have been for 400 years and only know of their homeland from stories past down.'Moses' (Christian Bale) has grown up alongside the future King - 'Ramses' (Joel Edgerton) as a brother in all but blood, they havestood side by side in battle...However 'Moses' has always harboured doubts and when told by a Jewish Elder 'Nun' of his humble beginnings, though he seemsnot to want to accept this truth, it will trouble him.He's been told of the prophecy that someone will lead the Jews out of Egypt and to freedom.After a falling out with the now 'King' - 'Ramses' (though the Bible tells of Moses killing an Egyptian brutalising a Jewish Slave) 'Moses'is banished to the Deserts beyond the Kingdom.Now he has to learn to survive in the wilderness, there will be challenges, he was never taught the skills he now needs, as a 'Prince' there was never a need.Eventually he comes across a small community who tend sheep and goats and lead a simple life....though at first he has no intentionof sticking around too long, he will try to build a life in this new-found environment, and will marry.Meanwhile the Jews are suffering even more at the hands of their Egyptian masters, building the legacy that 'Ramses' has envisaged.In the Desert 'Moses' climbs the forbidden 'Holy' mountain close by his community's, where he believes to have been given a directivefrom 'God' to return to Egypt and free his people.Is he the one of the Prophecy the Jewish Elder had told him of years before....He leaves his family promising to return one day and sets of to Egypt to face 'Ramses' who he'd once called his Brother to demand thathis people be set free....of course 'Ramses' is in no mood to listen to the demands 'Moses'Plague, Pestilence, Famine and Death will befall the Egyptians before 'Ramses' agree's to free his Slaves......however, he soon has a change of heart and seeks revenge for the perils thrown down upon him and his people.Giving chase to the fleeing Jews he finds that the Seas had parted for those he chases, however in pursuit the Jews reach the opposite shore, but his forces are engulfed by the returning waters.Now free, 'Moses' and his people will wander the Deserts for years on their Journey to the promised lands....doubt and a loss of faith will spread throughout the travellers.'Moses' having again climbed 'Mount Sanai' receives the word of God which are carved upon two tablets ....'The Ten Commandments''Moses' is destined never to touch the soil of the promised land, though he is permitted to gaze down upon it............The story is a re-shape and indeed a different interpretation of the Biblical Story as told in the Bible and indeed from the many filmsdepicting the story down the years, including that of the 1956 'Charlton Heston' epic.The film benefits from an imaginative use of Special-Effects which makes this presentation a glorious spectacle well worth watching.The picture and sound quality on both the Blu-ray and 3-D versions is also pretty impressive.OVER 5 HOURS OF 'EPIC' EXTRAS -*The Exodus Historical Guide*Deleted and Extended Scenes*Commentary by Ridley Scott and Jeffrey Caine*Keepers of the Covenant*Making Exodus - Gods and Kings*Enhancement Pods*The Lawgivers Legacy - Moses Throughout History*The Gods and Kings Archive*Multi-Angel Pre-Visualisation - The Red SeaAN EXCLUSIVE JOURNEY BEHIND THE SCENES*Get an Unprecedented view of Ridley Scott's film-making process with an exclusive 7-Part Documentarythat explores development, production design, costumes, locations, special-effects and more.
