Got this to replace a gray plastic accordion file my husband was using, which he was keeping next to the couch for paying bills and filing household mail. I couldn't stand to look at the ugly plastic container in the middle of the living room that I decorated, but that we very much live in, and figured that if he was going to need something to keep close at hand, then why not get something that actually looked like a decorating item and didn't need to be constantly shoved out of sight. This looks great, and he uses it every day. He ended up putting his sheet music in it as well because of the extra room it gave him, and it looks good whether on the end-table or on floor beside the couch, under the piano, on the chair beside the piano. I considered those open magazine bin type containers, but he needed something that could file paperwork in an organized labeled way. It looks so nice that I got one for myself, in the light blue, which matches my home office colors. If you need something to haul daily back and forth to work, or load up for traveling with heavy items, this is not the right choice. You will need something much stronger for filling to the brim with heavy papers and work related things, then carrying it a distance and expect it to hold up; it is made from cardboard covered in what looks like leather, but it is not real leather. Make note that this is not a piece of luggage nor was it designed for that purpose. The price should indicate that, as bags meant for carrying laptops and heavy things cost in the hundreds of dollars. I would not load this to capacity with a laptop and a book and lunch and a phone, or to carry pounds of papers to and from home daily, but it isn't intended--or priced--for that kind of heavy duty use. I do however use this to store my laptop on a shelf or beside my desk on the floor, and leave it there. I do carry it, but not for heavy things and not great distances. You won't find a prettier storage container for stationary or room-to-room use, in an office or in your home, to hold art supplies (perfect for knitters), for storage on an open shelf, in your bedroom or closet for accessories, the design and colors are great. The colors are so bright and it really looks much more expensive that it was, so this was a useful storage container at a great price.

Great color and seems pretty durable. Files fit well inside and it's easy to carry. I haven't moved it around much but if you tried to transport it the files might shift. I just move it from one room to another and it works great.

The interior hanging brackets are cheap. Ripped as I was placing them in. This is my 2nd with the same issue. Able to work around and no other options I liked

Very handy, but workmanship is poor. They had to send me a replacement due to a defective hanging bar.

I bought this for a doctor I work with and as soon as I placed the hanging rods in the areas, the material is not thick enough to hold, it tore. I was so hoping this would work for Christmas for her but will have to find another idea! Not worth it, although the thought was great for this item.. just not sturdy. I

Purchased when I moved into my new Beach house. Needed this for a space saver. Very portable and keeps me organized. Love the color!

I would not recommend this for transporting documents. However, it's perfect as a decorative and functional piece for my office. If you have a few documents you need access to on a regular basis, this is a great alternative to the typical plastic or wire boxes. I was able to fit 20 hanging file folder, and 60 file folders within those!
