LaVie Warming Lactation Massager 3-in-1 Adjustable Heat + Vibration for Breastfeeding, Nursing, Pumping, Essential Support for Improved Milk Flow

As someone who religiously reads reviews before I buy anything I wanted to come back and write one for the mom who is struggling like I was. BF/pumping has been a huge struggle for me as I am incredibly prone to plugged ducts/mastitis, especially when I have to go back and forth between pumping at work and nursing at home. I tried everything including lactation consultant, supplements, hand compression, right flange/pump/bras, etc. I thought these massagers were kinda gimmicky but was desperate so I got one and it really has helped me so much. I feel like it does help my milk let down and express better, helps kinda break up clogs and get over them so much faster (usually within 24 or less) and honestly when my boob hurts so bad because it’s inflamed from a clog this just feels nice and is an easier way to apply heat while pumping than messing around trying to work around hot/cold packs. That being said I do use it in addition to everything else I’ve been doing but I feel like I finally found the perfect mixture of things for me and BF/pumping has been a night/day difference the last month or so since using this. One charge usually last me a few days of pumping and I think it’s pretty comfortable and intuitive to use. It may not work for everyone but truly wish I would’ve tried this sooner instead of struggling for the past 6 mo. It would’ve saved me a lot of pain and tears and made pumping so much better!

It actually helps. I was skeptical at first while reading all of these great reviews but I can’t honestly say that it actually works. I went from pumping approximately 1 oz per side to almost 2 oz per side just in the first use alone. I haven’t tried it while feeding yet but I’m sure it will be great. The heat levels are very nice and comfortable. The texture is smooth and feels nice against your skin. It’s very easy to clean and small enough to keep in your purse. Definitely worth the money. I’ve used it a hand full of times so far and the battery life has lasted me. I’m very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend.

I bought the heating one. It’s warm enough and nice. The vibration options are good and the strength is decent. The buttons are located poorly. Bad design. If you want to adjust the device while it’s on your breast and move it or apply a little pressure, you hit the buttons often and subsequently change the mode or heat level. Unfortunate because otherwise it’s a useful little tool for clogged ducts.

I got this as it had such high reviews in lieu of the Frida one that I had with my first child. The unit is soft, comfortable, and portable. For me, the unit seems very slow to heat up. The vibration feels nice, but it is incredibly loud. I would not be able to use this while working and taking meetings. The size and shape makes it very obvious it’s in your bra through the shirt. Also, the buttons are very easily pressed, so when I am moving the unit around in my bra, I constantly have to click the buttons to get back to my preferred settings. I wish I had stuck with the massager that I knew, but I guess I will make do with this one. As for value for money, I would go with another item. Its drawbacks and only being one unit, makes it not worth the money.

Frankly I don't understand what this is for. I fell for the hype because like anyone with a new baby, I want the best breastfeeding experience. Maybe it helps clogged ducts, but I haven't had one to try it on. Otherwise I think this is a money maker hype product that targets enthusiastic new moms (like me).I have 3 different pumps and I don't know how anyone gets around the pump flanges to use this on their breasts while pumping. Baby is offended by the vibration during nursing. It might help minimally to "preheat the oven" before I pump. I haven't seen a difference in output.Waste of money, wish I hadn't fell for it. Really shocked there are 12k reviews with almost all being positive

I truly believe that after using this tool when my milk was coming in that it reduced inflammation and clogged ducts and knots that were forming. The multiple vibration and heat settings are wonderful and it’s easily cleaned and charged. It’s also discrete and portable in its carrying case. Very thoughtful! I only had one uncomfortable day out of the entire time I was breast feeding with this device. This works so well! You just gotta get in there and suffer a bit of discomfort working those knots to experience the relief at the end. You got this Mamas!

I was having an issue where one side just didn’t want to let the milk go. Using this with the warmer before and during pumping got it to let down and fully empty which is amazing because I was afraid of getting mastitis. The pointed end is great for working on a particular duct and the heat isn’t crazy high so I don’t have to worry about burning myself accidentally while being enough to provide some relief. I haven’t found any of the different vibration patterns to really help one way or another, really they all seem to do the same thing. The battery life is actually really good. I’ve been able to use it for a couple days on a single charge. The texture of the device is also very soft so it slides over the skin nicely without feeling like it’s pulling on the skin. It’s also small so fits in a purse if you want to take it with you for on the go pumping as well, very portable.
