Solid Support , Flexible Usage
This is a very solid laptop tray stiff and unyielding with a neoprene type bumper on the front edge and similar on the main plate It attaches to a 75 mm or 100mm vesa plate with 4 countersunk screws and 4 nuts. The angles it can reach depend on the arm you attach it too. it can be flat and horizontal on mine and at the other extreme flat with the back also horizontal. You are left with 4 spare screw holes and these are just large enough to take a 1/4 20 screw. Which is a great size for photographers and film makers as 1/4 20 is a very common size for mounting things such as a light stand baby pin or perhaps a camera tripod clamp. Now if you can find some 1/4 20 screws with a tapered head you could attach a mount to the rear of the tray and it wouldn't interfere with the front side.So flipped upside down you could attach a camera lights or microphone even a gimble while still being able to use the front side for its intended purpose or perhaps a small midi keyboard. So perhaps perfect for use for bloggers or musicians... It's a stiff shelf to be fair and very useful. I'm tempted to use it on a gas arm if it was stiff enough. for the greater flexibility in height.
