Review: This is a great alternative to a concrete pad. I used the system to serve as a base for a storage shed. I followed the recommendations for creating a base. The most important step is to have level ground and requires the most time. After that, I used sand, a vapor barrier and then the HexPave system. The system itself is easy to install and barely took anytime. There are no tools needed and the individual grids easily attach. Luckily, I did not need to do any cutting or modifications - the grid fit perfectly into the space I needed. I am not sure if modifications are simple to do it you need them to fit into a smaller space. After the aggregate was added, the base felt sturdy and level and I am sure it will last as long as I need it. I would use the product again without hesitation. I wish I knew about it before. It would be a great substitute for concrete in a driveway or car port. It would drain so much better as well as being durable and strong.
Review: The product seems solid enough. It is currently holding up my 10x10 shed on a gravel pad, used for storing several motorcycles and other stuff that I am working on. It goes together easily with a simple snap of the clips. Time will tell if it lasts, but I see no reason why it wouldn't. If I had any complaint, it is that it is listed/ bundled in "packs" of a specific size. I wish they just listed it per sqft, then you just order what you need. In my case I had to order 2 of the 65sqft packs to get the coverage, because you need about 1 foot all round larger than your building for drainage. That works out a fair bit more expensive. Anyway, so far so good!

**Q: Can these be cut at all?**
A: Yes Absolutely, they are very simple to cut. A good hand saw will do the trick nicely or of course, you can utilize a table saw if you wish.

**Q: What size gravel do I fill the grid with?**
A: We recommend filling with 1/2 inch or smaller gravel. This is a complete fill-out entirety of the cells. As far as what kind of gravel, that's 100% up to you!

**Q: Can I use as a shed base?**
A: YES! Absolutely you can, and it will save you lots of money. Simple lay this down and fill it with sand or gravel and you have your shed base.

**Q: I want to use this for an uphill driveway, is that ok?**
A: Sorry, we do not recommend the HexPave for uphill or heavy-duty driveways. The HexPave grid is for walking paths, patios, parking areas, and much more. For a driveway or heavy-duty installation, please refer to our EasyPave system!

This is a great alternative to a concrete pad. I used the system to serve as a base for a storage shed. I followed the recommendations for creating a base. The most important step is to have level ground and requires the most time. After that, I used sand, a vapor barrier and then the HexPave system. The system itself is easy to install and barely took anytime. There are no tools needed and the individual grids easily attach. Luckily, I did not need to do any cutting or modifications - the grid fit perfectly into the space I needed. I am not sure if modifications are simple to do it you need them to fit into a smaller space. After the aggregate was added, the base felt sturdy and level and I am sure it will last as long as I need it. I would use the product again without hesitation. I wish I knew about it before.
