Disappointingly, of the two units I purchased, one arrived with an acrylic panel that was cracked, as if something heavy had been dropped point first onto the box. Since the damaged piece was the back panel, however, I decided that it didn't matter, and assembled my units anyway.I bought two of the 15 inch long units, planning on stacking them on top of each other. After I assembled them, I realized that I could remove the bottom board from the top unit and make them into a single, two storied unit, which worked beautifully. I highly recommend doing this if you plan on using more than one unit together. It's classy and secure!Now, first off, several people have left reviews stating that the holes in the wooden parts for the acrylic sheet tabs were too small, requiring them to widen them. I think that they failed to understand that the tightness of those holes is *intentional*. You don't want the tabs to drop in easily and rattle around. The tight fit keeps the unit more stable and secure. And it isn't difficult to get the tabs into those holes, even thought I did NOT receive the mallet that is shown in both listing and in the parts list that comes with the display case. The heel of my hand was plenty enough force to tap the pieces together, and as long as you are paying attention, and line things up so that you are only ever applying direct *downward* force without any angle to it, you really run no risk at all of "snapping off the tabs" like other people have complained.Seriously, the hardest part about this assembly was removing all of the film from all of the acrylic pieces before assembly! And they supply a tool to even help you do that!Fully assembled, the swinging doors were a little tight to close, needing me to flex the plexi a little to get them secured, but, honestly, that isn't really a complaint. That tightness keeps the doors from swinging open on their own, so I like it. My only *real* complaint is that the acrylic/plexi used is a little... soft. When loading up your case, don't let your items rub against them, because if they are made out of anything that is stronger, they will scratch the acrylic. A slightly higher quality plexi would fix that, but I think that would affect the price-point too much.The only things I would change at all about these units is that I wish the LEDs were COOL white, rather than warm, and I'll be looking into swapping them out, and I wish that for the swinging door types, that there was a hole drilled on BOTH sides so that I could choose which way the doors swing open. IF I end up completely re-doing all of the lighting in this unit, then that's a simple thing to do, by just flipping the wooden top and bottom around. That only works, though, if you don't plan on using the integrated lighting, otherwise, you're stuck with the hinge being on the left and opening from right to left.Overall, given the tightness of the fit of all the pieces when properly assembled, this unit is MUCH more sturdy and stable than I anticipated, and looks very nice. All of the included tools to help you with assembly - from white gloves, to film removal tool, to even a microfiber cleaning cloth! - really show the attention to detail for such an inexpensive piece. And the risers are better than shown in the videos, too, with extra cross-braces to make sure that your shelves don't sag!If you are on the fence about trying one of these out, then I recommend you give them a shot. They come in such a great variety of sizes, and are easy to assemble and look very nice, whether you're displaying toys, fine art, or anything in between.

I was looking for a decent light up display case for my rock collection, i took a gamble on this and i am satisfied, its just right for my rocks and displays them perfectly, i know its an “action figure” display but i think it serves great for this too (as you can see).I took the shelfs out of the bottom case for my larger rocks and its also great.The assembly was very easy and self explanatory, it came with gloves, micro fiber wipes for the plexi glass, and string lights for each case. The built in light is nice and the whole look is very modern.Would recommend buying if your looking for a cheap display case with lighting

Have to shimmy it a bit to open carefully so that the fragile items inside don’t fall or shift.Assembly is confusing and tricky (have to hold multiple sides simultaneously so that the line up and click into place). Took some trial and error but only about 10 minutes total time spent to complete. Directions do not help much. After completion, display case is sturdy and sits flush and evenly.

I personally like the light wood design to it because it’s not common to find display cases like this. It goes well with my home decor/style. Although, I give this 4 stars because the wood had some kind of glue stain on the top of the case and it was a bit tough to get the plexiglass into the wood slots. Felt like I was one hit away from breaking the glass when hammering it into the wood slots. I would say $35 is reasonable because there is a light installed into the piece. Overall, very cute display case.

Although this product looks nice, it’s extremely flimsy and difficult to set up once you get to the door portion. The panels don’t attach to each other just the top and bottom of the case. The door has no attachments just one hole. There’s a hole at the top and bottom but that’s if you decide to use the left or right. You can’t use them at once. I tried to gently install the door and the top part of the casing chipped off which forced me to make the door open on the left instead of the right. At this point once it’s set up I just wouldn’t open it. If the other side chips off then you can’t install the door at all. The only pros I found is that the casing is clear. It comes with a cleaning cloth and gloves. It can fit a whole 12 figurine popmart set. It comes with double sided tape which I used to adhere the shelves to the case and adhere a few of my miniature figurines so they don’t fall. I’d give this product 5 stars if they figured out a way to fix the door so that it doesn’t rely on that one hole that could break off when installing.

I bought this item twice. First time the item was perfect and I use it to display my rock collection, but my collection outgrew the case so I bought a second one.The second one unfortunately has a.chip missing where the inserts go for the door to open and close. Plus the door is too big for my case size and it won't fit in/open and close once I get it in there anyway.Some of the other pieces for the shelf are miscues too so I can't even use that.

This lighted display case is very nice. Several reviews complained about difficulty removing the protective covering on the plexiglass pieces. Once I got a corner started, I used a hairdryer to help remove the covering. The heat from the hair dryer should be applied between the covering and the plexiglass. Then slowing lift and roll the covering.

Bought this so I can put my funko pops in a display case. Pieces for inside the case were missing, so I had to send it back. If the product was like the description the price would have been perfect.

The case look really good after it is set up but is is quite hare to put to gether. The string lights that came with mine were broken in the package but the box was not damaged

I used the display case to display a thimble collection, the panels are sheer, not cloudy at all.The case lacks sturdiness, I would not recommend moving the case with the contents in it, the shelving is quite wobbly.

Unfortunately the display case had 2 broken pieces when it arrived. HOWEVER... as soon as the seller became aware I was making a return, they reached out, and arranged to ship me a replacement at no cost. The new case arrived within 2 days, and was perfect! Exactly what I had been looking for. It requires a bit of patience and care to assemble, but once together it is very nice.I'll be using mine for a display of vintage 1980' GI Joe's.Very happy with the product in the end, and will likely buy another.
