Cablecc Oculink SFF-8612 SFF-8611 to PCIE PCI-Express 16x 4X Adapter with SATA Power Port for Mainboard Graphics Card

I purchased this thinking it would fit better in my oculink egpu enclosure than the 24pin ATX model as it was listed as working with graphics cards. It did not work with my RTX 4070 and the main reason i think this is, is that after researching, I do not believe Sata can deliver enough power through the pci-e slot for a modern graphics card. I ended up going back to the 24pin atx connector and using a 90 degree angle adapter to get it to fit. My guess is this is for other pci-e cards like wifi network or sound card etc. Thankfully I returned it and got a full refund without problem. They should not list graphics cards in its description in my opinion.

This oculink board works perfectly, plug-and-play, with the oculink port on the Minisforum UM780 XTX.

Funktioniert hervorragend mit einer RTX 2080 Super - diese habe ich mit diesem Adapter (und altem losen Netzteil) via Oculink an einen Mini PC (UM 780 XTX) angeschlossen. Performance ist deutlich besser als mit Thunderbolt eGPU Gehäuse.

ケーブルが電源コネクタの方が挿し口だったことを除いては想定通り動きました。GPD Win4 2023に接続して使っています。とりあえずRX570のグラフィックボードはすんなり動きました。電源スイッチもついていてお手軽に使えます。他にもキャプチャカードも使えそう。RTX3060 12GBでも43エラーに対処すれば無事に動きました。トラブルを避けたかったらPCIe3.0まで(RTX20x系)のグラフィックボードしておくか茨の道のPCIe4.0のグラフィックカードにするか選択が必要です。PCIe4.0のカードを動かすにはOCulinkケーブルをきちんと長さが適切か(ノイズに弱い)、ケーブルが正しく結線されているか(このボードの電源スイッチをOFFにしたときにPCと連動して電源ON/OFFされれば正しく結線されている可能性高い)、43エラーを正しく回避できるか(デバイスマネージャーで起動時に43エラーが出ないようなしないと動かない)といろいろ大変です。※このボード自体はPCIe4.0×4で動くのは確かです。一つ目は43エラー以外はクリアできている状態2つ目は43エラーを正しく回避した状態

残念ながらM.2 NVMe SSD 2TBを接続してみたが認識できなかった。M.2 SATA SSD 1TBは接続しちゃんと認識して使用できる。
