Treats For Chickens Certified Organic Cluck'N Sea Kelp, 2-Pound, Vitamin Supplement

I mix this with plain greek yogurt and give it as a treat to my chickens. Egg shells are super hard now

After reading about the benefits, we decided to add sea kelp to our chickens and even our dogs diets. They all get it mixed into their food/feed daily and don't mind it at all. The quality seems top notch with no junk or fillers. Our only issue was the bag...when we opened it the seal pulled away from the bag making it useless. Not really a big deal so we still rated the product five stars. We just poured it into another container.

Not all of my chickens liked this at first, but they get to free-range most of the time, so that could be the reason. It did make their yolks a deeper color. I think I will use it more on rainy days when they can't get out to eat greens. It was very easy to add to their feed.

Better price than similar products and my girls seem to be more healthy since I started adding the kelp to their feed.

My hens love this added to their daily feed. I believe it has really added to their healthy condition and laying of tasty eggs. A little bit goes a long way. I usually mix 1 tablespoon per 2 pounds of feed, along with a few other suppliments. and the girls eat it right up.

I've been adding this to my chicken feed as a supplement, but today I did a little experiment... I put out a pile of this and a pile of nutri-balancer to see what they would do. They walked right by the nutri-balancer and weren't even interested but they did peck at the cluck'n sea kelp.

I bought this to help the quality of the eggs that our chickens lay. Often times they are thin and funny shaped. So I bought this rather then oyster shell hoping they would like it more. However since I gave it to them they have not laid a single egg and it is spring time. I should be getting lots of eggs. I’m gonna keep giving it to them in hopes that it changes and I’ll update this if it does but this is kinda strange.

I decided to try this before adding a more expensive kelp supplement. My hens didn’t really care much for it by itself so I mixed it into their food and other snack and they seemed to eat it that way.
