Tabac/Smoky - A Cozy Tobacco Embrace
Scent ProfileMaison Alhambra Tabac (now called Smoky) opens with a refined sweetness that combines honey, ripe plum, warm amber, and a touch of peach. As it develops, the fragrance transitions into a richer, smoky tobacco heart that feels both bold and nostalgic without being overpowering.Character and InterpretationFragrance enthusiasts often describe Tabac/Smoky as a balanced blend of honey, plum, and smoky tobacco. On fabric, it tends to emphasize the smoky aspect, while on skin it leans more into notes of dark, nutty chocolate or cacao with a strong amber presence. The scent profile is warm and inviting, offering a smooth, syrupy quality that stands apart from spicier tobacco fragrances. While some draw comparisons to Dior’s Tobacolor, Tabac/Smoky feels like its own creation - less intricate, but still compelling in its sweetness and warmth.PerformanceIn terms of performance, Tabac/Smoky holds up well for its price point. Most wearers experience moderate to strong projection with approximately seven to nine hours of longevity on skin. It tends to last even longer on clothing. While not aggressively loud, it has enough presence to leave a pleasant, noticeable trail.Overall ImpressionMaison Alhambra Tabac/Smoky stands out for its rich honey-tobacco composition and comforting warmth. It’s an ideal scent for cooler weather, especially during autumn and winter. The fragrance lends itself well to evening settings or moments when a touch of elegance and coziness is desired. Those who enjoy tobacco scents with a gourmand twist will likely appreciate Tabac/Smoky's smooth character. The fragrance offers excellent value, often drawing compliments and being mistaken for something far more expensive. Though its sweetness might not appeal to those who prefer drier or spicier tobacco fragrances, Tabac/Smoky remains a solid choice for anyone seeking an accessible, high-quality scent with depth and personality. In short, if you're looking for a tobacco-based fragrance that blends smoky warmth with a sweet, amber-rich finish, Maison Alhambra Tabac/Smoky is well worth exploring.

This sets a scene “ the GODFATHER” movie in a bottle
If your looking to create a feel of a dimly light mens club -smoking room this is it. It’s smoky and manly! Picture a dark mahogany wood paneled room, book shelfs with leather bound books and gold imprints, black leather overstuffed chairs, an expensive oriental red rug adorns the floor, and men in suits with tightly slicked back hair, smoking pipes, watching as it swirls into the air, with dry fruity brandy, and bourbon glasses in hand …intermingle it all with the back scent of powder sweet or spicy dry downs of the mens random colognes… mixed with the heavy tabacco. A true power house. NOT for everyone but definitely for the VERY confident man. A true smoke scent not too sweet just right. Year round scent depending on the event, but leans more to fall winter due to its heaviness. Go easy two overlapped sprays should project for hours. Give this one time to mellow on the skin before you judge it.

Lattafa Maison Al Hambra Smoky
This fragrance is formerly known as Tabac. It's an obvious clone of Dior's Tobacolor. The box and bottle design are very reminiscent of Dior's Privee line. I have a decant of Tobacolor and this smells basically identical. It's a great value compared to the cost of the original. For a tobacco fragrance, I smell surprisingly little tobacco. This is a sweet honey, fruity gourmand fragrance with tobacco in the background along with very subtle smoke. There's peach and plum in this fragrance, and I feel like these are the dominant notes. It's nice, but it may not be what you're looking for if you're wanting a tobacco fragrance. I recommend Carolina Herrera's Mystery Tobacco (or the excellent clone Exclusif Tabac if you're on a budget), Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, Mancera's Red Tobacco, or Guerlain's Tobacco Honey if you're looking for more tobacco-forward scents.

Nice unique (yet sweet) scent that is best suited for colder weather.
Overall, it is a pleasant smelling EDP for colder weather. I would say it is office-friendly as well. The smell of this fragrance is very much similar that of Adyan Rutbah. Many reviewers say that Smoky is a re-branded bottle of MA's Tabac, which itself is a dupe of Dior's Tabacolor. In my opinion, this can not be further from the truth - Neither plum nor tabac are present in Smoky. There is a definite portion of something sweet (honey, I presume).the practical longevity is minimal - I stop noticing the smell after about 1 hour. However, the smell 'sticks' to the clothes for much much longer periods of time (~10 hours if not more). Your nose would have to touch the whatever clothes Smoky was sprayed on to notice it though. All in all, it is an interesting DNA...

I Don't Care For It
The scent is okay. Nothing to write home about. A fresh, powdery, lightly smoky, very slight tobacco scent. I must have gotten confused when someone told me it was a great tobacco scent. Now the packaging. It was not good. The atomizer was not seated properly in the bottle and it leaked quite a bit. The level in the bottle is clearly seen. You can see the stains in the packaging and I had to clean the bottle up quite a bit so I could hold it. Not the best way to test a fragrance.I was stupid for blind buying this and would return it if I could. Might be for some, but I was going for something more masculine. I should have passed.
