High quality controlled caffeine dosage with added (?) clarity from L-theanine
This is my second attempt at using caffeine pills and I have heard good things about the Liftmode brand of products. I typically take two pills throughout my workday in addition to 8 oz of coffee in the morning and 12 oz of green tea. Before this product I would often buy espresso drinks from Starbucks to supplement myself with additional caffeine in the afternoons, but this sufficiently replaces that need. The boost gained from this supplement does not feel as jittery as a caffeine drink, possibly due to the L-theanine component. I love that is so convenient to carry these in my pocket and take them at parts of the day when I'm expecting an energy slump. Once this bottle runs out I plan to buy another.

Great combo
It's a good ratio of caffeine to L-Theanine. Less expensive than coffee. I love the included certificate of analysis.

LiftMode is a positive addition to make!
The Liftmode I tried for the very first time was not a trial size, yet they do have those available if your wanting to sample. The analysis that comes with it makes you feel like you know more about your purchase than anything I have bought. Very clean, and quality assured. I recommend for anyone who is looking for those things in supplements.

100mg / 150mg ???
I thought that since the L-Theanine was 50mg less than most other 200mg products coupled with 100mg of caffeine that it would be a little better of a boost. But this stuff puts me to sleep I have been taking it with coffee and energy drinks for the desired effect.

Good Supplement, But Needed to Double/Triple My Dose
I am admittedly pretty insensitive to caffeine. I find that I feel an energy kick with 200mg or even 300mg, but knew that the 100mg in the recommended serving was going to be potentially "drowned out" by the theanine.I ended up feeling absolutely no effects at all from one capsule, but did feel a bit of an energy kick and calmness from taking two. I can not and will not recommend that ANYONE goes away from suggested serving, but my sweet spot was with taking three of these. I felt the calmness from the theanine mixed with the energy of the caffeine. It worked well for me.I THINK if I was to have 200-300mg of caffeine and 200-300mg of theanine it would work much better for me. Every person is different though. You may have a great reaction to the suggested serving size, which is all I feel comfortable recommending. That said, you've read the review so you know what may or may not work well for you.I believe in the end that Liftmode makes quality products and this is one of many in their line that have worked well for me at some point.

Caffeine in the pure firm.
Caffeine....many of us depend on it to get through the day.Either im form of coffee, energy drink etc many consume it daily, it multiple times a day.Sometimes we do not have time or access to caffeinated beverage, that is where those capsules come in handy. They take little space - in your pocket, purse etc. Each capsule contains 100 mg of caffeine plus 150 mg of L-Theanine.They are also more cost effective - how much do you pay for a cup of your favorite coffee? Now multiply it by 150 (amount of capsules in the bottle) to estimate the cost - i bet those capsules will be cheaper...Granted - coffee is more than caffeine...the scent and flavor plus ritual of brewing your favorite cup...I'm not asking you to quit coffee - just to consider this capsules when you're simply too busy or don't have access to your favorite beverage.Plus remember - enjoy responsibly - do not take more capsules than recommend by the manufacturer - too much might be harmful.

A good combination, if it works for you
L-Theanine is a very interesting thing, and if you're reading this review it's likely that you already have some idea of what it does. Essentially, it is neither a sedative nor a stimulant. For many people, it increases the ability to focus and makes relaxation slightly easier to achieve. The combination of L-Theanine and caffeine has been studied and the assertions made that the combination has an interesting benefit for many users. In my own case, I've found some value in L-Theanine to help with anxiety and I use caffeine more than I probably should to help with fatigue. This combination seems perfect. I assume that the dosage information is accurate, but my regimen of taking these things separately seems to work better- even at the same dosage levels. I'm not sure why. This company has shipped me long-expired products before, but this one was not expired... it just is not working as well as my previous regimen of taking L-Theanine and caffeine separately. It may work fine for you- people can vary quite a bit.
