Grandson used this to find roofing nails around the house that were missed by the roofing contractor.

Lawnmower, excellent value

It works well. My buddy's kid lost his car keys in the park. I loaned him my metal detector and he found them so it works good. For finding stuff in toll grass. I have not actually gotten a chance to use it very much. I have gotten out and dug up a couple things. But I have dug in a few spots and not found anything. It might be set too sensitive. I need to take some more time with it and get the hang of it. It's nice that it's waterproof You may want to take it to the beach or if you're out in the rain.

This is my first metal detector. The instructions were decent and so I was able to quickly assemble it. I do like that it's a complete kit including pretty much everything you could need to open the box and start detecting shortly thereafter. While I haven't tested it by burying different kinds of metals to check it's accuracy I was able to locate one of the iron stakes at the corner of my lot using it and in testing by tossing a few objects around the yard it seemed pretty accurate in indicating when I was close to or on those items. The handle was comfortable with the length of the arm having quite a bit of adjustability for users of different heights. I feel like this is probably aimed at the middle of the market, it's decent quality with important features, even the bag is nice to keep everything together, while no being so high end that it's priced out of reach of the average hobbyist.

This metal detector was simple to assemble, easy to use, and is fun! It came with all the extras to make your treasure hunt complete. It came with 2 shovels and a basket. My kids love heading out to the pasture to search for stuff. Although they don't come back with a lot, they have found some pretty old nails buried in the ground. The only thing they could have done better on this metal detector is the pin style attachments. they feel loose and it seems to rock in the pin when moving side to side.

This is a great starter metal detector! I had one when i was a kid and loved it. I thought it would be fun to get one of these and use it with my nephew. It came very well packaged and comes with a carrying bag to all the other pieces it comes with. I'm 5'8" so the actual MD didn't fit in the bag once its assembled (without taking it apart) but no worries. It was easy to assemble and the directions were easy to follow. It includes several useful tools: A hand shovel, a sifting bucket, a metal spade (that is super heavy and quality!) and headphones. The MD has multiple settings for metal type, sensitivity, and depth. I think this is a great value for the money! And everything you need to get started ASAP. I highly recommend this metal detector.

It’s all there and packed in there well. It looks well made and hardly weighs anything.Installation/setup: Follow enclosed directions for assembly. Not hard.Final thoughts: The accessories weigh more than the detector itself. We tested it out in our apartment and it picked up everything we tried it on. It even picked up the metals in the floors, possibly beams or nails. We got this for our upcoming trip to Arizona where I'm sure we will find all kinds of neat things out in the desert. I like that it works under water and has a lit display so you can use it at night.
