Awsome bag. It's really cool looking and could be great if you want a really small bag, but that's the thing it is very small

I have a 5.11 pack and my son wanted something similar for school this year and for over night/weekend travel. I tried another brand on Amazon but returned it because the coyote color was too yellow and looked ugly/dirty and it had lot of extra straps on it (my son called it a sea monster) so I selected this pack because from pictures it appeared we could remove both the waste straps and chest straps which turned out to be true, and also because this pack did not have the top V straps as the previous one had that I returned. The quality looks sturdy enough but I really can't comment on durability yet. It's good enough for my son for school or for me to take for a short hike or weekend travel. If you are active Military I'd probably go with a known quantity like 5.11, etc. but for less professional use it seems fine. I am glad I found this deal to get my son the 'look' he wanted in a new backpack and its even low cost enough that I don't mind cutting off some of the (compression) straps on the bottom or side in the future if my son decides he doesn't like them. Overall happy with the value here.

Ok not an actual ton. It hold almost all of my 7th graders stuff. (Labtop, 3 books, folder, cleets, 2 uniforms and workout gear.) This is our 2nd one. 1st lasted 2 school years with a rough county boy. Worth every dollar
