Star Wars: Darth Maul - Son Of Dathomir (Star Wars (Marvel))

Product arrived on time in perfect condition. I’ve only read the first chapter. Very excited to continue. One thing to note which isn’t explicitly stated is that this is a comic book, not a novel.

If you watched the Clone Wars series, including the final season, and wondered how Maul escaped from the clutches of Darth Sidious, this book holds the answer. Son of Dathomir is an unproduced 4-episode arc that really should have been made in order for the series to make sense. Maybe one day it will be, but until then, all we have is this. Thankfully it's very good, the transfer to another visual medium helping immensely.

We bought this for our 11 year old who loves all things Star Wars, and is a huge fan of The Clone Wars. He's already read it several times, and likes that this particular book includes all of that comics in that series. A great buy.

It ends more ambiguously than the series. Still no resolution to Maul's arc. The points with Sidious were brilliant, just as with the series, but when we're introduced to a Jedi we don't see in Revenge of the Sith for a life and death battle with 3 other Jedi we know will survive, it becomes predictable as to who will die.

Must read for any star wars fans. Especially if you liked clone wars

This was a great incite to the animated series (clone wars and rebels) and Darth maul is portrayed amazingly.It came in good quality and was a good buy.

This comic is set after Maul is captured in TCW series 5 and explains how he comes to be where he is in series 7.

The first Arc of the canon comics (and only Canon comic not printed by Marvel) is a very good one, featuring Darth Maul and Mother Talzin working to overcome Sideous, Dooku, and Greivous.A LOT of action featuring Greivous, Maul, and Mandalorians, definitely a must-buy for TCW fans!IMPORTANT:This comic follows Season 5 of The Clone Wars, and will have spoilers for those of you who haven't yet seen the show. I recommend you watch that first before reading this.

I really enjoyed this comic and it was very affordable!
