You can spend $200 on a hammer but this one works well for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice for the price, but a tad loose - not a deal breaker. *by J***N on March 14, 2025* Overall this appears to be a decent hammer. I still have to dress the faces before it's anvil ready. After reading the reviews I was prepared to find the handle loose so I was not surprised at all. A few quick taps brought the head down nearly half an inch and tightened it right up. I was then able to drive the steel wedges with a punch to hopefully lock it in. I was pleased to find the handle wasn't finished with lacquer and with a torch, scotch brite, and boiled linseed oil I was able to apply my finish of choice in a span of about 15 minutes. Time will tell how durable this hammer is and I fully expect to have to replace the handle sooner than a handle I've hung myself but for the price this seems to be pretty good. If you want to try a rounding hammer but don't want to bankrupt yourself finding out if it's the right hammer for you, this is a good option.
