Organic Pea Protein 500g by Natures Root- Certified Organic by The Soil Association

Overall I'm happy with this product. When I use pea protein, I add 2 scoops of it in a 600ml blender, few ice cubes, frozen banana, a scoop of cocoa powder, a couple of dates and 400ml water does that does the trick for me.The pea protein by itself is not too bad compare to hemp which is a little harsh tasting by itself. The pea protein has a nutty taste to it, that just needs something else to accommodate it that is a natural sweetner for good taste in my opinion.

Great in smoothies & adds a rich texture & flavour

Says on the Amazon website that it is certified organic by the UK Soil Association or EU certified, but it is sourced from China. This is misleading. If it's from China, it should say so on the website.

So this is the first pea protein I have ever had, and I chose it because it had the least 'bad flavour' reviews of all the proteins I could find. I was a little apprehensive, but happily surprised - I think the stuff tastes pretty good, like marrowfat peas, which I like. I tried it with a non-dairy milk which was slightly sweet and that was not a good combination. Then I tried just with water and other than being slightly bitter, I thought it was alright, don't know what all the fuss is about! Yesterday I had it in an instant miso soup and it was almost undetectable and probably actually added some flavour and texture to the soup.So if you're looking for a safe bet when entering the work of pea protein, like I was, then I think you can't go too far wrong with this one. I'm very happy with it!

It has a tolerable flavour which by the way it's great for this particular plant protein powders.It mixes evenly.

I have bought this as a replacement for the normal whey protein as I was looking for a more healthy and natural solution to intake protein. By itself tastes absolutely vile. But mix with fruit and adding a bit of honey is ok. Would be nice to have all the nutrition facts in the package hence the lower score on presentation.

Avoid as it comes from China!
