I bought this because one of my Corgi’s favorite things to do is pull empty dog food cans out of my previous short recycle tub to chew on them. I wanted a covered recycle bin to keep her out of it. This fits the bill. I first bought recycle bags that were 33” tall. Those did NOT work. They fell down into the can & whenever I’d try to open just the lid, the entire top would lift up. I then bought bags that are 38” tall - work perfectly and don’t fall down. Only the lid lifts now and the top piece that holds the bag in place stays put. The bin was easy to put together and seems sturdy. I keep it in my garage just outside of the kitchen door, so I can’t vouch for durability outside. I like that it’s covered to keep flies out of it. It’s great in the garage and eliminates me having to run everything outside (especially in rain/snow/cold). Now I just change the bag every other week when it’s time to put the large recycle garbage can out at the curb.

This is one of the nicest outdoor trash cans we've found. It's very solid and well made. The color is great. And it was very easy to put together. I did have a slight issue with the lid not attaching all the way. But I contacted the company directly and they were able to help me very quickly. It's all taken care of now and we couldn't be happier. I feel like this will last a really long time.

This product is fantastic! It looks beautiful on my deck and has been so functional and sturdy! It is the perfect size, and the lock feature keeps bugs/animals out which has been wonderful. It honestly looked better when I received it in person than it does in the pictures.A few months into using this product, the middle divider piece broke, and I reached out to customer service to see if they could send me a new piece. They responded in less than 24 hours and offered to send me a new product since the piece I needed was no longer in stock. I have truly never had a better customer service experience which made me love this product so much more! 10/10 recommend this product & company!

Update!! When I first reviewed these trash cans I wasn’t very pleased about how hard it was to take out the trash bag without tearing up the trash bag..East Oak company head my complaint reached out to me willing to replace my old trash cans with the new upgraded version. I was hesitant at first, but I was like sure why not. These new trash cans did not disappoint. They are nice super nice easy to clean holds lots of trash. Sides are now easier to remove trash bags no tugging no pulling no rips, no tears these trash cans are heavy duty. My kids take out trash now and they are rough on trash cans. Lol..I absolutely love these. this is the very first review that a company had reached out, to me to fix a problem. In my opinion the customer service with East Oak is outstanding they take pride in their products and in the service they provide other companies should definitely take notes. This company is passionate about their products and the quality of service they provide. I would definitely recommend these trash cans to friends and family as well as any of you who are looking for a well-made, dependable easy to clean trash can. Did I mention the bottom of the trash can slides out to clean. So no more bending all the way in the trash can to clean YAY!! These are perfect.!! Thank you!

We love our new outdoor trash can. It’s easy to assemble if you actually read the instructions first. The lids open and close with ease. They stay up easily too. Even though there isn’t a divider between the trash and recycle sides it does the trick. It is sturdy and worth the price paid for an all weather good looking outdoor trash can.
