Great value and replacement
Replaced a Broan 688 with this fan and very much satisfied. Choose this fan for a few reasons, but mainly because it was the same size and didn't have to cut the drywall.Installation:Didn't have attic access, but still went smoothly. Removal of old fan took about half hour and installation took about one hour. It could have been designed a bit better to make installation easier, but it was a similar design to the fan I took out.Noise:It is about half as noisy as my previous fan, so the noise level is as advertised. You hear it running, but not annoyingly loud. I would consider it average noise level. If a near silent fan is important to you then look for a different fan.Air flow:Good air flow and although I can't measure it precisely, did does move much more air than my previous fan. I can feel the air movement and it keeps the mirrors clear when taking a long shower. My air duct was a 4" semi-rigid duct, the previous fan connected to it with a 3" to 4" adapter, I was able to remove the adapter and connect directly to it since this fan's outlet is 4". Keep in mind if you have a 3" duct and using an adapter with this fan then your air flow will be reduced. With a 3" duct you might want to consider there slim model or something else.Value:Price seemed good for what you get. More expensive than my previous fan, but I believe it is worth it.Final thoughts:This is definitely an upgrade over my previous fan and we'll worth the couple hours installing it. I considered just swapping out the fan motor on my previous fan, which would have probably taken $20 and 10 minutes to do, but I am glad I upgraded to this fan. My last fan really didn't have the air flow needed for our master bathroom. It lasted 23 years, just hoping this one will last as well. Recap, I got twice the air flow, half the noise, uses less than half the electricity for a little over twice the price.

I consider myself handy but struggled with this installation. Don't be fooled by the manufacturers simple video. To be fair a big part of the problem was getting the old unit out of the ceiling, not from the attic. The brittle metal ducts that were there dented and kinked easily. Had to make a Home Depot run for a 4 inch to 3 inch adapter and some aluminum duct tape. I was also disappointed by the noise level. I know the specs say it will fluctuate from 1.5 to 2.0 sones, so as to not cause a load on the bearings. It's louder than I expected from the onset.

This one works wonders
Pretty quiet for the amount of air it moves and really efficient! This was a great upgrade over the Broan ones that were originally with the house. It is an easy install. I highly recommend this for the do-it-yourselfer.

So quiet and efficient.
Hubby installed after ripping out original noisy fan that came with the new house 34 years ago. We got the one without the light. Footprint is much smaller than the original one, and will need drywall repair done. It seems like it's not working when you first turn it on, but then it warms up and works so nicely and quietly. My grandson thought it wasn't working.

Delta Electronics ITG100 Exhaust Fan
Liked noise level compared to old fan. Used this fan to replace old fan that failed. Had no access fromattic, so had great difficulty removing old fan. Had as much difficulty installing this new fan. Total fanappears well-constructed, so hope it lasts a long time.
