I purchased the version with the solid ring where you have to remove the headrest to install it. Removing the headrest is pretty easy, and I didn't want to run the risk of the carabiner version not fitting around the headrest posts.Don't know why I never thought of a solution like this. I have leather seats in my car and every time I barely even touch my breaks, my purse goes flying on the passenger seat. These hooks are great, keeps my purse in place, and I love that I can simply flip them to the back side of the seat if I have a guest riding in my car and I can hang my purse there. I'm sure they're great for items other than purses that can be hooked to them, too.

These are great. Convenient to hang your purse, water bottle or anything else you don't want on the floor of the car. I purchased this second set for another car.

Would be better if the triangle clip was also metal and not plastic.
